About this deal

Good price on these well-reviewed budget bookshelf active speakers. They are consistently £99.99 on Amazon and elsewhere so this is a decent 20% off. Obviously they're not Hi-Fi quality but great for anyone looking for an affordable yet good-sounding pair of powered bookshelf speakers.

As others have mentioned, the bass is a little lacklustre on these. For £10 extra, you can get the 1280TS from Overlockers which has a subwoofer out. Adding a sub to my pair made a HUGE difference.

Use them for a year. Great speakers for a desk setup. Bass is weak.but for the.price the sound is quite nice

Out of interest, what do you hook up to them?

Bought these as i wanted to replace my Logitech Z623, wasn't too impressed. It was a lot quieter than the Logitechs and at loud volumes not great. Stuck with the Logitech for now

OP here. Just FYI I ordered this and paid for it when it was in-stock on Monday morning before posting the deal. Despite paying next day delivery with a same day despatch date they still haven't despatched the item and I've heard nothing more from them. Not a great service from Overclockers. I note it is now saying Pre Order so presumably they don't have stock.

Spoke to Overclockers and they haven't had stock since February despite these showing as in stock. One rep said stock due this week, another rep said they don't have an ETA. Waste of time.

An alternative for people looking is make an offer on these, my offer of £90 was automatically accepted so wish I'd gone lower! ebay.co.uk/itm…299
