Keeps contant low energy consumption, cycle after cycle
Heat Pump Dryers with SelfCleaning Condenser protects your clothing while remaing highly energy efficient. Thanks to the SelfCleaning Condenser technology, the condenser is cleaned automatically, up to four times during the drying process, keeping always a top energy performance, cycle after cycle. Bosch’s heat pump dryers is designed to run efficienly and dry clothes gently and perfectly.

Automatically knows when your clothes are perfectly dried
Bosch tumble dryers and washer dryers with AutoDry dry up to ten kilograms of laundry especially gently and just to the level of dryness you want, whether that's dry enough to iron, to put away, or extra dry. Its sensors constantly measure the temperature and remaining moisture and thus protect your laundry from excessively high temperatures and overdrying.

Specially quiet and durable
The innovative AntiVibration side walls are specially designed to provide more stability and optimally reduce vibration. The enhanced insulation also regulates noise levels, making Bosch dryers specially quiet even for an undisturbed night’s sleep.

Dryer with the most environmental friendly agent (R290)
Bosch's new heat pump dryers range features a new and more environmentally friendly cooling agent R290. This is the world's most eco-friendly, natural cooling agent available in the market.

Fabric-friendly drying with extra care
With the SensitiveDrying System, the laundry is dried by mild, warm air coming from all sides and gently mixed by the curving soft carriers, instead of lying flat on the fabric-friendly drum structure. The result is gently dried laundry, soft and fluffy without creases.

Its not one I would buy. Uses just over 2kWh per full load that makes it one of the least efficient heat pump dryers on the market. When I do buy ones of these I will be aiming to get one around the 1.5kWh (more expensive yes, but waiting on a great deal) with a 5 year guarantee.

    I agree it's worth getting a 5 year warranty.

The difference in running cost isn't so bad for the average person.

Typical unit cost of electricity is
    14p/ kWh
I certainly wouldn't use a tumble dryer more than 3 times a week on average throughout the year.
In summer most just put the washing outside to dry anyway.

The difference between a machine rated at 1.5/kWh and 2/kWh is only 7p for a cycle.
Over a year that's only £11 based on 3 cycles per week.
    For a typical 10 year lifetime of a machine that's just £110.

Certainly isn't worth paying a few hundred more for the machine

    Whats better (ignoring drum size)

This or the other discount AEG dryer: AEG 7000 Sensidry 8kg Heat Pump Tumble Dryer

Both Which Best buys, both marked as Eco machines, but the Bosch can be faster (hence probably the higher energy consumption possibility).
Lots of people quesitoning the value of Which reviews recently, however if looking for a common benchmark it might be useful - the Bosh (highest Bosch dryer score) scores 77% the AEG 74% not a huge difference. But the extra kilo might be worthwhile. AEG, LG tend to dominate the best buys on heat pump dryers, with a few Bosch (mostly variants of this machine).

If you bought online, Costco will refund the difference provided you purchased it within the previous 30 days (you just request a price adjustment on the website)
