LiDAR Sensor

Clean your home more efficiently and thoroughly, as it calculates its location accurately and optimises its path. A LiDAR Sensor accurately tracks Jet Bot’s location by scanning a room to gather distance information, so it moves around efficiently and covers more of your home.

Powerful Cleaning
Clean your home much more effectively with advanced technologies that enable powerful cleaning. The Digital Inverter Motor maximizes suction power. A High-efficiency brush also cleans any type of floor, including carpet and hardwood, with fewer tangles.

Intelligent Power Control
Clean hard floors and carpets thoroughly. Jet Bot’s Intelligent Power Control identifies the type of surface and amount of dust. Then it automatically adjusts the suction power to clean it thoroughly. So it increases the suction power to clean deeper into carpets with power control technology.

High-efficiency Brush
Clean carpets and hard floors more effectively and with fewer tangles. The robot vacuum cleaner’s high-efficiency brush has fine fibres made of soft woven textiles, including anti-static silver. High-efficiency extractors also grind-up hairs to avoid getting them tangled around the brush.

Upgraded Wi-Fi Control
Control and monitor your Jet Bot anytime, anywhere with its upgraded Wi-Fi control. Using the SmartThings App, you can remotely schedule it to clean selected rooms or set virtual no-go zones. And you can monitor the cleaning status to see where it is cleaning in real time using Jet Live.

Features

  • 90 Min Run Time - Up to 90 minutes of continuous cleaning
  • LiDAR Sensor - Optimised cleaning by scanning the room to gather distance
  • WiFi Connectivity - Control and monitor your robot vacuum cleaner anytime, anywhere
  • 5 Year Warranty - For complete peace of mind
  • Clean Station™ - Auto empty dustbin so you stay dust-free

Don't buy it. I'm a Samsung person - phones, tablets, tv, soundbar, fridge, washing machine, cordless vac.
Bought one of these about 6 months ago as my old faithful xiaomi was on its last legs. Well, couple of weeks later the shiny new jet bot was sent to the loft. It's just not as good as xiaomi. Noisier, dislikes even low pile rugs and just doesn't clean as great.

I've got this one, and I've also got the one without the auto emptying station.
They're pretty good on hard floors, and average on short to medium pile carpets. The reason they're average for carpets is because they have a soft roller bar rather than bristles. As such, they're not great for picking up pet hair from carpets, but they do a good job at collecting pet hair and dust etc on hard floors.

As I've got a dog, I still need to run the Dyson corded vacuum around once per week upstairs (where it's carpeted) and on my living room rug. (edited)

    Is this actually any good?

Worth the money if it means you don't have to manually vacuum anymore.

I've been looking at this as a replacement for my Roborock that I've been using for the last 5 years. One thing i noticed is you cannot find spare brushes for the Samsung models. For the Roborock, you can find spare parts very easily at cheap prices but for the JetBot the dust bags are probably the only thing widely available. For this reason, I'm out.

Silly question probably but how does it decide to brush (when on a carpet) and then mop (when it’s on a hard floor) - or is that all stuff you have to program in ?

I think I’d assumed it mopped as well but I think not (edited)
