One bit of advice to anyone buying this is don’t install iCue if you value your sanity. Awful, resource hogging rubbish that it’s very possible will give you no end of trouble when you want to uninstall it. Free software like OpenRGB will most likely do what you need. I read recently MS are going to add RGB controls into Windows soon too.

Seems like a good deal on the board though, heat added.

I have this in black, great keyboard. Takes a while to get use to when gaming as the slightest touch of the key triggers it, kept wondering why I was jumping in games realising I rest my thumb on the spacebar lol. Heat

Is this keyboard any good for office use? rtings.com suggests that it is but interested in what owners think. I currently have the Keychron K5 Pro and am loving it but the black doesn't match anything else on my desk (vain I know!). So if this would be considered an upgrade on that then it would also help make my desk look better!

I had it in black for years, but the noisy keys, which comes with the territory of mechanical keyboards, meant I put orings on it, but in doing so I seemed to have caused the double key press issue, a common fault on these keyboards. So eventually I moved to g915 with low depth keys, however g915 key caps are painted and it can peel off within 12 months.

K70 is certainly better quality IMO. (edited)

Any idea what colour of Cherry MX switches comes with this? It's really poor that they haven't detailed that part as it's such a huge part of the typing experience.

Or did they make a mistake in listing the Cherry MX as they are Corsair's own brand OPX Linear Switches? (edited)

I get a nasty metallic ring when I’m pressing keys on this. Haven’t been impressed at all and it’s the second one I’m on as first one got replaced for peeling keys. Not sure why they couldn’t just replace the keys but there we go.

Could always try some o rings on the keys. I did that with mine

Have the mk2 version of this they released with the mx silvers a while back to replace an OG K70 RGB. Super solid keyboard, PBT keycaps and silver/white colour are excellent.
Found it’s actually stayed cleaner than the original k70 I had and doesn’t show dust as much. Really easy to clean and not had a single issue in the last ~ 2.5 years. Feels and looks the same as the day I got it.
