I managed to bag one of these last week:
    Mini Gaming PC, AMD Ryzen 9 7940HS (Up tp 5.2GHz) 8 Cores 16 Threads, 32GB DDR5 1TB M2 SSD amzn.eu/d/d…HVp

HotUKDeals won't let me post it as a deal (£530 with voucher) because of seller restrictions but damn the system is good.
Has handled every game I've thrown at it so far and it's tiny! Brilliant for a portable desktop with casual gaming.

That's fantastic, can't get close to that price for the same spec even from Aliexpress! However, no reviews puts me off. Have you done a SSD benchmark? As that's where they tend to skimp on some of these type of systems.

Hey Si, hope you are good. What graphics card do you recommend for this Palicomp build I got my son a few years back?
    CIT BEAM RGB
    PROMO - 3400G + 16GB 3200Mhz + 500GB M.2 NVME + FLASH + 500W 80+
    AMD RYZEN 3 3200G - 3.6Ghz/4Ghz Turbo - 4Core/4Thread + VEGA 8 Graphics
HEATSINK/FAN For CPU Included; To Cover Overclock If Applicable

Something along the lines of an RX580 8GB would do wonders, have a check on market place in ur area, ill have a scan over ali express, see whats rocking there.

Don't forget with all the Ryzen APU's you can run a dual graphics setup if you have a discrete GPU, AMD or NVIDIA gpu's will both run with dual graphics. (edited)
    Manos_de_diamante's avatar
What is dual graphics? And which AMD CPUs support it?
  4. DM24's avatar
Fairly similar specs overall on this video to give an example of what to expect from a gaming perspective with this...

Ooh I want this. Any chance for a different case (less flashy, more basic) or turn the lights off?

In fact, what's the best way to get a pre built pc which can support a top GPU (combined with a CPU)? I know I'd have to have something like 750w as a minimum, and watch out for the dimensions in the case. (edited)

Case options are on site; however if u click the reset button it can be set to a still white or light blue which looks very nice without affecting airflow.

    -> as for PSU -> GIGABYTE 750W 80+ GOLD : +£65.00

key things to consider; 8500G/8600G do have very nice IGPU's
but u can use the 7600 as an interim which is also on site at the bottom., as it does have onboard graphics but is basic as they come, but with a GPU laters this will be better then say an 8600G with a GPU, but upfront u wont be doing any form of decent 1080 gaming. (edited)

Budget? I don't know. I guess I'm limited to what I can get with the build I have, no?
  7. Ruffuz's avatar
Is 8600g a sweet spot in the range?
    FairPriceSystems's avatar
    Author
It certainly is, for that higher onboard graphics, that is where the onboard picks up even more.
/ price starting from £460.00 for it, which is only £10 more then AWD 8500G

#see video i put on the post for more info, it covers all three really well.

The 8700G i dont expect much support on that, but ive compared it to the market, and if there a user out there who desire it, that is a good deal, but its serious wildcard.

How does it compare to the £500 5600g from yesterday?

    Which one was that pal?

Is there a video that compares the performance of these APUs Vs 7600 on windows performance instead of just gaming? I couldn't find any, and I'm more concerned about applications like PowerBi and Advanced Excel, all benchmarks are gaming or video editing.

I am looking for a new desktop for work based tasks.  Software I have is ram heavy so will get 32gb.  Also could do with 2hdmi ports on motherboard, or would I need to get a separate graphics card.  Any advice would be much appreciated.

How does this look using the AMD Best Buy option?

A very quick back of the envelope check shows that if you built that from individual parts you're looking at around £1620
So for them to build and warranty it that's not a horrible price assuming you want those specs and can't DIY it.
Not sure what GPU or RAM you'd end up with though.

Some of the upgrade prices are (as always) a bit cheeky and what I see (2tb pcie ssd for £110) doesn't match with your screenshot. You can buy a 2tb ssd for £100 and still have the original one. (edited)

Have followed you for months and months as after a PC but have held back for the time being. Not after anything too powerful for gaming. Just things like footy manager etc and this is the first deal that’s really tempted me!

Just ordered this thanks, did a fair few upgrades so have doubled the cost. First time dealing with Palicomp though and have been impressed with the comms so far since placing the order
