So I noticed the small print at the bottom of the listing.

    "PleaseNote:
    1. This router is with Chinesefirmware. It only supportsconnecting to the Miia Appwhose service area ismainland China.2. The Chinese version andthe global version cannot beused in the same servicearea."

    Is this a problem?

Not really sure that HUKD should be promoting deals that blatantly disregard GDPR international data transfer regulations!

Anyone know if this a genuine Xiaomi? I've brought lanovo ear buds and they are most definitely fake

If you've bought Lanovo, then they're definitley fake

Mine is working well in AP mode. Can also be used as a second router depending on your need. (edited)

Do these work with existing asus routers?

    I'd doubt it, but following

I've got one of these , it's at least 3 years old a going strong. The only problem with mine is the menu is in Chinese, no problem though with Google translate on my phone.

How far can the range go
    Alex_H's avatar
Impossible to say for sure, as it depends where you place it, how thick your walls are, devices you want to connect to it ect. Should be fine for range in a standard three bed house.

I saw a review where AX3000T performed better. I have got AX3000T , not this model to do a proper comparison.

Could i use this to replace my smart hub 2, even when wired i only get speeds in the low 300s.....not keen on shelling out 200 quid if this will do the business. (edited)

I got the Mi AX9000 when it first got released. Reckon I can mesh it with this AX3000. Problem with my AX9000 is that it's not global version so have to translate to see if mesh is available.

Anyone tried this with a Quest 3 to a PC over airplay/VD? I have a Three wifi6 5g router - which for steaming etc - not a problem at all, even like 50gb files straight to the quest - but for some reason try to game from pcvr to quest or even just looking at the desktop and it's awful borderline unusable. I tested by putting an old 5ghz router in between for just the PC and the Quest and was significantly better, like at least usuable

    So,

Why should I get this when the Xiaomi BE3600 exists?
  15. vhero's avatar
Great but if you need support or it doesn't work on delivery your stuck. You could send back but it will cost more than you pay8 for this sadly.
  16. bp4917's avatar
is this for 1 or 2
    Feverdawg's avatar
1, but I went for the ax3000t at just over £20, not sure exact diffs but CPU GHz is higher, and newer model

Finally got mine setup last night. Google translate didn't help had to watch YouTube vids in English to navigate the Chinese menu. I just disabled DHCP and boom now running in AP mode and getting a 100mbps performance boost over my crap sky hub.
    HICKegan's avatar
Do you have a link or at least a video name for video you have watched? I've not managed to get very far with mine.

Got this running in AP mode and all is good, very good in fact compared to my ISP router preformance. Has anyone else manged to get one of these running as a wireless repeater though? Would be far more useful to me if I could get it to service my garden and sheds too.
