Cracking deal this for these well reviewed budget speakers. I paid £90 last week for the R1280T (no Subwoofer out) which was a good deal so this is a belting deal for the R1280TS (with Subwoofer out). Very nice sounding speakers for the money.

If you don't need the "S" (which i think is the sub out?) they're £80 at overclockers

No idea why the RRP has been modded down to £99, they are pretty consistently £109.99.

ye i got the ones without sub line out last week and they are £99, these are definitly 10-20 more RRP to have the option of a sub, great deal and i really like mine, dont need or have any intension of getting a sub but for those who are this would be excellent over the normal ones.

Unfortunately no Bluetooth connectivity on this model. Great deal though, heated

You'd need to buy the Bluetooth version for that

My z5500 just died after almost 20 years service, in the last 10 years (the family years) they have been used as a 3.1, with focus on a centre channel for speech focus. The volume also didn't pass 1/6th in that time.. While I understand I will loose a physical centre channel, how will these edifiers 1280 - the range - compare in sound quality, sound stage. Looking at options..
