sorted byIt has no dedicated buttons for play/pause FF/RW or for subtitles on/off.
Try & adjust the volume in a darkened room & you hit the wrong button every time.
Hit "Select" & you accidentally scroll the wheel, meaning that annoying pointer appears!
You are better off with the standard remote.
My one from 2015 (OLED) is fine, but some apps are not supported any more - I've been using a Roku Stick for the past 4-5 years, so don't need to access it very much.
The key for a cheaper model LG TV is not to install too many apps & come close to maxing out the storage capacity, this is what will slow it down the most.
There are also other ways to free up memory / clear cache...
