    £1000 loss? I'm sold

For anyone on the fence, GS are increasing the RRP on this piece by 7% from 4th April in Japan. I'm not sure if this is global.

I've got a twelve quid AliExpress smart watch. Tells the time. Bargain.

    Always the same lame comments...

The Spring Drive movement is leagues ahead of its rivals.

The seconds hand glide is sooo smooth. It puts my Rolex and Omega's to shame.

It's also much more accurate and loses less time.

They're also finished much better than equivalent priced watches.

If you can't tell, I'm a big fan!

Nice price, think will stick with my san martin homage. No stress wearing that outside the house.

No stress wearing this either, hardly anyone will know what it is. You're more likely going to have trouble convincing people it is actually a luxury watch, once they've seen "Seiko" on the dial (edited)

I was never a GS fan, but the older I get, the more I'm seeing the appeal. I'm in Japan in a couple of weeks, so I'm going to be scouring the used market for a bargain..

Tried the Blue and the Green on in Jan..... both absolutely stunning.
Thank you OP, trigger pulled on the Green.

Could get a knock-off version and nobody could tell the difference. Fools and their money are easily parted.
    M3NDEREZ's avatar
    Everyone could tell the difference.

    Those are very nice.

Better check the back of a sofa for a spare £3.7k....

Blue and the Green are both stunning.

This much for a watch and they make the mistake that you have to tilt your head to read the date. It’s a no from me. I’ll stick with my Mickey Mouse watch. you can’t go wrong following a mouse pointing with white gloves

This is an INSANELY good price. Hard to believe that it's so cheap, even with £750 in VAT included. This is just the I was after too. Decisions, decisions.

    Do it.

What is Watches of Switzerland doing selling a watch made in Japan?
    leanderle's avatar
They also sell watches made in Germany. We really need to get onto Trading Standards.

Don’t like the weird position of the date otherwise would have been lovely

Unbelievable value for this timepiece! Stunning in green as well as this blue. If only I had the spare money, I’d jump all over this.
  24. stec77's avatar
Can anyone tell me what secondhand value this watch would have incase money had to be recouped? Thanks in advance.

Not a big market for Seiko unfortunately, it's more of a modders market these days.

The moped gangs in London will love these.

They won't know what they are.
Doubt they can tell a Rolox from a Rolex in the dark.

No micro adjustment in this price range is a shame.
