Product Details

An indispensable item in your toolkit, this DeWalt magnetic bit holder with drive guide sleeve will be your third hand when driving screws.

No more having to grasp the screw in one hand while you're holding the screwdriver in the other. Insert this piece into your cordless screwdriver and you can guide screws into awkward places easily. You'll be drilling without touching the screw, so you'll prevent finger injury and be able to concentrate on the work in hand.

This drive guide has a self-retracting, barrel-shaped sleeve to trap the screw and ensure precise drilling. It also gives you something to hold onto as you drive, creating stability without friction. Thanks to the magnetic material, your screw will be held still – no more accidental scratching while trying to keep screws in place. This bit holder's hardened material makes it extra strong and durable.

• Magnetic bit holder holds screw during positioning
• Guide sleeve helps to achieve straight, accurate screwdriving
• Self-retracting guide sleeve reduces risk of finger injury
• Diameter of 9.5mm
• Length of 80mm

I’ve about 5 or 6 of these all over the place. They’re good for the money when on offer, but very much a disposable. They fall apart with an impact driver making simple screwed benches etc.

I use mine in a combi drill and it's worth no more than £2, Don't know how it's lasting for some in an impact drill! (edited)

£1 of this is for the DeWalt logo. Not a big fan of DeWalt.

A quick search shows they stock "impact rated" bit holders from £5.41 up. You get what you pay for?

i find these "drive guides" a pain in the back side! i cant see if the bit has made proper contact with the screw most of the time.
