    this is an amazon mouse is optical, the proper logitech mouse is laser thats why it works on every surface, thats why it is more expensive.

    The one I bought two years ago on Amazon for the same price says on the box "MX MASTER FOR AMAZON". It comes with a dongle and it's laser... They have changed the box and mouse. Not good.

    For those who find the micro usb a deal breaker, you can leave one of these plugged into the mouse so that you don't have to have multiple types of cables for your devices. They don't get in the way either...

    I have this mouse. I would say battery last around 3 months so less of an issue.

    Is there a USB dongle with this? The video review above says yes, but it's not listed on the Amazon page?

    I can confirm it does not come with the dongle, which is what they mean when they say "Bluetooth version", however, I was able to pair it to the dongle that came with my Keyboard

    please note this does not come with unifying bluetooth receiver so if your device doesnt have bluetooth, it will not work,

    I'm always very tempted by Logitech mice, especially the MX series, but keep in mind that if you use these models on a daily basis, the top layer will start peeling over time, making it look as unpresentable as possible.

    Great mouse but main drawback is old usb connector. For long term future proofing, usb c is a must.

    Have to admit the Amazon editions always feel less premium than the standard logi mice. Last master Mx I bought from Amazon (Amazon edition) the teflon pads were thin and didn't last as well as my mini Mx has.

    just push the wheel downwards (once) and the speed rate and scrolling pattern will change to ur taste.

    i have both and they perform in the same way in both scrolling circumstances

    I have MX 3S and the Logitech 502 Lightspeed.

    The 502 is so smooth, lightweight and easy. Only drawback is poor battery life.

    MX 3S is heavy and not as good as 502 but good battery life.

    I'll have to disagree with your MX 3S review. Best mouse I've owned and I also possess the MX 3.

    Really not much difference between the two models other than quieter clicks on the 3S. I take either one of them everywhere for performance. I've also mastered the Master MX3(S) since I purchased the MX3 almost to the day three years ago and it does take time to get used to the superfast scroll wheel. Once mastered, it's very difficult to consider alternatives.

    Some things in life are never fully appreciated...

    The m720 triathlon is the best middle ground between the anywhere and the master. Lot of options and customization, nice smaller size , I don't even know how it's not the most popular. Also if works with AA battery which means battery won't be rubbish 3 years.

    I believe companies (Working in IT or similar) are obligated by health and safety to provide you with the correct equipment if you experience problems. I got a 3s and a Herman Miller chair without a fuss so maybe a try worth? (edited)

    Why would anyone spend £40 on a mouse? I got a Logitech mouse for £24 but the clicking & scrolling noise is so loud. I ended up buying a silent wireless rechargeable mouse for only £7.19 & it does the job. (edited)

    I have it. How do I tell? There is no visible light where you might expect a red glow if that's of any use.
