Really trying to find a 13-14" with sodimm for £600ish. I've had RAM fail before, and while it's unlikely it does make me feel somewhat uneasy!

The 12th gen Inspiron 14 Plus from 2022 probably would have been the one, but unfortunately I'm looking a few months too late!

I think the Inspiron 14 5445 is the best option. Can configure with R7 8840u which outperforms the Core ultra 7 155H while consuming less power. Has sodimm ddr5 and upgradable WiFi and storage. Only downside is that the screen is at best average (45% NTSC, 250 nit, 1920x1200).
