£150 off a pixel watch 2 is a pretty good deal. It was available for £123.99 recently but this price is still pretty good.

You must pick one of the watches that starts at £299.00 to get the final price of £149.

Add the watch to basket and in the checkout page apply the code "PIXEL150" into the input box. It took a few seconds for me for it to register as active.

As an FYI, I was not eligible for the previous discount and I have not received any email about the promotion.

24 hour battery life. How is it supposed to monitor my sleep? I like to charge stuff overnight so its 100% to start the day. Pointless product.
    mrcheesecake's avatar
If I remember correctly you should get enough charge into it while showering and getting ready each morning to last until the morning after. Shame it doesn't have the 7-10 days of a Fitbit tracker, I genuinely forget about charging it until a get an email saying battery is low every couple of weeks, it charges for an hour and is good to go again

    Still no dice

If you don't see it as a Redeem button next to the price on the product page itself, you don't qualify. You click the button, you don't enter the code.

You may or may not be able to apply it to the LTE version, from what I can gather. There are no rules for this one. 🤷‍♀️ (edited)

Pay £149 for daily low battery anxiety. No thank you.
    BananaTime's avatar
It has 24 hour battery life, how exactly will you be getting low battery anxiety during the time you're awake?

Thanks - discount code works but not convinced by battery life so will probably swerve. Considering a Huawei GT4 instead.

As someone who bought this in the original Amazon deal, I typically can wear this from 8am in the morning, wake up with it on the next day and on the first day I had it, it suggested I had 2.5 hours left, then today it was about 4 hours.

It must be account specific. Not working for me either. Steal if you can get it. I need to replace my pixel watch 1. Starting to die.
    sanmarinojR's avatar
A year old device that retailed for 300gbp should be working for 5 ± years .. this is becoming a joke . No wonder people buy them on ebay for 50 quid.
  6. miaccumulator's avatar
Can anyone compare this to the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro that I have? I'm using a Pixel 8 phone. Are there any benefits over Samsung?
    Deal_searcher's avatar
Probably not. They are pretty similar. I guess with Samsung if you don't have their own mobile you miss out on a few features. Otherwise each have its pros and cons.

As others have said, it's an overpriced fitness band just like the apple watch.

The plus side to the pixel watch though, is it at least has a more accurate heart rate monitor than the apple watch, as you'd expect from Fitbit. The apple watch has never been a good heart rate monitor though, despite what the apple babble will say on their store page.

The downside is the stupid Fitbit premium subscription that doesn't do anything other than allow you to use the watch hardware that you've already paid for. Sleep tracking doesn't require any kind of processing on Google/fotbits part as it's all on device, but no, artificial pay wall.

I bought the original pixel watch, have to say it sits in a corner and rarely gets used.

Im struggling to see why this is any improvement, it's essentially the exact same watch with a new processor.

Really lackluster improvement, I'd wait for V3 which apparently has a much bigger battery
    V6ALFISTI's avatar
New processor, improved battery life with I think a bigger battery rather than just optimisation of the new processor, Alu instead of stainless case, it has new sensors to upgrade the data insight. Decent enough upgrade for a change in 1 generation. (edited)

I have the discount if I buy from Google, which costs more, but not Amazon.

Most definitely in the minority with this take

To balance out all the negative comments, I love my Watch 2 the battery life lasts me a good 2/3 days so don't get the 24 hour comments at all.
Everything syncs brilliantly with my 8 Pro and the step and heart monitors are very accurate, a lot better than my previous watches.
Guaranteed Wear OS security and updates first as well, the likes of Samsung Huawei etc you always to wait.
    BananaTime's avatar
Agreed. Not sure what all the hate is about on here. I just switched from an iPhone to a pixel 8 pro and as such switched from apple watch series 8 to the pixel watch 2. I have no issues with the battery life, I get to the end of the day with around 50% left which is enough for sleep tracking. Pop it on charge while I have breakfast and a shower and it's ready for another day.

How anyone would want to buy a watch that needs charging every day beats me...Huawei all the way.
    -MrLizard-'s avatar
My Amazfit Bip S only needs charging once every 3-4 weeks. I don't understand why they put super bright amoled screens on a watch which kill the battery. Same features with the Bip's type of screen would last probably 10x longer. I'm waiting for something else like it before upgrading, but nobody seems to be making one.

Switched to OnePlus Watch 2 from this - pro's and con's of both watches but for me the battery life is most important and 4 - 5 days with the Oneplus outweighs everything.
    shayman1992's avatar
I'm thinking of getting the OnePlus can I ask you what you don't like about it?
  15. Lil6ix's avatar
Battery life is the deal breaker for me tbh
    hammaad19878ec66's avatar
Does it last for 24 hours?
  16. MakazoleMaquiqui's avatar
Is anybody else here using the GW5?
I get 3-5 days on it easily
  17. HTWYROR's avatar
Stick with a Fitbit Versa 4. Same functionality and 5to7 day battery life whenever always on display is off.
  18. Quicklite's avatar
Got a Fitbit Versa 2 from a few years ago. Slightly annoyed at myself for not getting tempered screen protector as it's now pretty scratched up on the screen. With the always on screen disabled and not many alarms, get 4-5 days battery.

Gone to the Fitbit versa vs this Google thing comparison. Nearly fell of my chair laughing when I saw the battery life reduction from upto 6 days tp 24 hours for what's otherwise not too dissimilar feature sets (fair, google had the edge but that's 1/6 the battery life). At least the Google will have had the fall protection.

Have a black Wi-Fi one still brand new in sealed box from the original Pixel 8 Pro launch. If somebody wants it for £120 with free postage, I'll happily do a deal 👌🏼 (edited)
    Meltigemini's avatar
Lol, why would anyone want to pay a stranger £150 when they could buy it actually brand new from an established retailer with a warranty for the same price.

Might want to think a little before you post...perhaps actually undercutting the price of an established retailer is the way to go, lol.

Horrible plastic strap. Its like going back to the 80s.

I managed to blag one last week.... so far I'm pretty disappointed.
32gb storage but no native audio player, have to use You Tube music... sorting your own songs is a pain in the backside.

I'm pretty frustrated with it so far...

Samsung g5 pro is the better watch imo
    Deal_searcher's avatar
So did I but mine is still not yet delivered. Expected to be delivered this weekend. When you say you have to use YouTube music does that mean there are ads? I'm not a YouTube music premium subscriber. I'm on the fence at the moment as to whether I want it or not.
  26. CyptoHippy's avatar
I got this free with my Google Pixel 8 Pro, not really a watch more of a fitness band - Fitbit. Its okay for free but I wouldn't buy this. No comparison to a Huawei watch or Samsung.
    MyCaII's avatar
Thing is fitness bands tend to have 7-14 day battery lives whereas this has only a one day battery. Most of the battery is being put into power features that your average user won't use because you have your phone with you and can just use that instead; and features like notifications and controlling your music are already on fitness bands. So if it's just a fitness band, it's a pretty bad one at that
  27. jake.james's avatar
Honestly glad I don't see the code otherwise I might have bought it and I really don't want to go back to a charge once a day watch

Thanks for sharing OP, will be a good deal for some! (edited)

The battery life is a joke
  29. aajax42's avatar
    Not working for me either
  30. sanmarinojR's avatar
I had the code now I don't see it. So don't worry people you just check it occasionally. Put it in the basket as a reminder and that's all. These things should be 100 quid anyway. After few years these bad batteries are trash and you throw away a totally fine watch otherwise..
  31. AJ321's avatar
    Does this work with ios
    Deal_searcher's avatar
    No it doesn't.
  32. Bubby's avatar

I had the email from Amazon offering me the discount and it STILL doesnt work for me! Work that one out lol
  34. FlyingSquirrel's avatar
For those of your considering this, insure it.

If you crack the screen, google will not fix it even if you want to them. It effectively becomes ewaste the second you drop it
    Deal_searcher's avatar
Why would you drop it outside. Isn't it supposed to be on your wrist. I have never broken the screen on any watch.
  35. Quicklite's avatar
For Fitbit users, are these cloned Fitbit rebranded or is there too much Google?
    roop27's avatar
It has all the normal Fitbit apps as standard
  36. playaz's avatar
I have this device battery life is fine for me I get 2 days or so before I charge but there are various tweaks to get more from the battery life really impressive and for £129 this was a bargain!
    V6ALFISTI's avatar
I can totally see this is possible, originally when I ran it for 24 hours, on first day it said 2.5 hours remaining, then on next day it said 4 hours remaining. Today I can't remember where I saw the hours, but at 26 hours it says 43% battery remaining. So I can see a 2 day being viable depending on how you use it.
