I've post this response so many times but here goes again.

It is always "on sale" somewhere.

It is not a £48 whisky in a month of Sundays. Its a £28 whisky with an inflated RRP.

It's okay at £28 but buy it as £28 whisky. Don't buy the discount, and think you are getting a deal on a £48 bottle.

Spot on. Ok whisky but never £48.00. I wouldn’t go near this when Penderyn madeira cask can be had for £27.00 on a regular basis.

For non whisky fans I see that Jubilee stout is making a comeback. Loved that stuff when I was a kid. Creamy, malty and with a great taste but extremely expensive on Amazon right now.
