Careful with this that you need to have a solid desk. A lightweight ikea style desktop could break with the clamping force and weight of monitors. Would suggest to reinforce it with some wood if thats the case.

    I was thinking about this.

My advice would be to always get separate arms, dual arms like this always restrict your choices on angles/positioning especially for bigger screens

Tempted by this but I wanted something more compact (like the Kensington one) because these seem like they always require the monitors to be pushed forward if you want them to be next to each other.

I've got two different 24" monitors (LG and BenQ), would there be any issues centering the monitors precisely next to each other? Is there room for adjustments with this stand?
Not sure if all VESA are centred the same at the back in all 24" monitors from different manufacturers...

Are these any good on a standing desk?

I have this, under a different name but the same. its good enough for the price.
I have two 27 inch monitors attached to it.

please note adjustment is limited to height of the arms only

DM352 it is a better option than this as this does not have a Knob and you need to adjust de height with an Allen Key, also the DM352 it is a bit higher as this has the straight arms.
