Have these, I’d rate them 7/10. Speeds are generally very good and range is good. Have plenty of settings, guest networks and support 160mhz albeit if the local airport isn’t using the band. Don’t play that well with things like blink cameras, even after spending hours fine tuning the settings. They have 2.5gb Ethernet but on only 1 port which is a bit daft if you want the best ping and fastest throughput. They’re Wi-Fi 6 which is pretty old hat these days, better off getting at least Wi-Fi 6e kit even if you need to save a bit more or add a node in future. I’ve got mine connecting directly to the ONT with a 1gig FTTP connection. Using Ethernet backhaul now which made a hell of a difference with ping over WiFi backhaul, but that’s not a problem specific to this mesh router as that’s just a limitation of half duplex WiFi.
I’ve had them for a couple years now and had the odd problem which has been a pain to sort. At this money they should “just work and be reliable” in my opinion.
Not voted either way as I don’t have the XT9

I've got a pair of XT8s and bought them a while ago, had these set up with a price alert that I'd set up when I was looking at either the XT8s or XT9s but back then I decided these were too expensive so just got a pair of XT8s and forgot to delete the price alert for these!
