I can't wait until community fibre comes to my area. Virgin media have held me hostage for so many years lol

Been paying around £18 for 500mbps on community fibre for years

Had it installed a month ago, very fast even over the wifi.

wish they had an option to pay for a static ip on something other than their 3gbps line

Apparently they do? as I saw a youtuber review their 1GB speed and you have to phone them but pay a little bit extra. I might be wrong.

Madness. I just got FTTP confirmation last week from OpenReach. It costs more than this to get 150Mb from other suppliers

Also I'm with NOW Broadband and they can't seemlessly move me to Sky broadband. So I'm looking for cheap deals to add FTTP to my property and just keep NOW Broadband until the contract runs out in 2025.

For the past 18 months, I've had flawless 1GB service, and my contract is set to conclude in November, coinciding with Black Friday.

They are a bit slow in sending out my friends voucher. So if you join them, make a note in your diary, and chase them

I signed up a while ago, they were offering a £150 Amazon voucher, was sceptical so I forgot about it but they actually emailed it 3 months in, pleasant surprise.

but through MoneySuperMarket you could get £100 amazon voucher (I prefer this deal) and used this website for Virgin Media

Are these just for new customers or existing customers as well ??

Sorry, we don’t offer service at the address you checked and we don’t have any plans to build here.
They were coming soon for 3 years.
Only virgin has fast speeds here.
Open reach have no plans for fibre, I live in London.

call them, they may be able to offer something better. got 3 months free + no setup which equated to more than cashback/voucher.
