Got the 4K ones with the Homebase 3 today, gotta say I’m well impressed, these are market leading cameras, build quality is superb, app is good although Ill be looking to use it with HomeKit which takes a few work arounds unfortunately but just nothing on the market CCTV wise with HomeKit that comes close. How do connect it to HomeKit?

Register the camera in app and there is then an offer to get HB3 with £54 off in case it helps (edited)

Does the HB3 allow for continuous recording? I want to mount the camera higher than the 7-10ft they recommend which means the motion control won't work as well - therefore having constant recording probably works better for my needs

Can we link this to homebase 2?

Just make a bracket out of some angle iron

Be careful I had Eufy doorbell delivered without the camera. All sealed from a national retailer. Looks like issue at source

I used stand alone on a remote site linked up to Starlink worked very well. Recently upgraded to HB3 to link with it no real reason just because I had a spare one and also works just as well if not a bit quicker to load remotely strangely. Decent camera I bought a generic gutter mount and attached it to that. Has survived the winter no issue

What’s this like with hb3 is there any improvements great cameras but having issues with missing motion particularly wildlife in garden.

Does it connect to google hub?
    Tonya22's avatar
I know it connects to my Amazon Dot, to announce there is motion.

I have a ring spotlight from 2018 that I currently use, would you guys say this is better video quality? Also I'm worried this does not have a spotlight any advice on this

You would probably be better off with the Eufy floodlight instead, it's out of stock at the minute, but if you're not in any rush it'll be worth waiting for.

Can these be used standalone in the native app? Or do I need the hub? Looking at buying 4 to cover the house and the driveway.
    valto's avatar
Can be used alone - but the recording gets stored in the camera and there's no way to story it in a NAS

This shows at £99 for me

Can anyone reccomend a wired camera? My house is right on the pavement so this one would just die straight away due to the sensor activation - need one recording 24/7
