    Still got my one and only stay in a London Travelodge burned in my memory. An overheated (no thermostat) underground chamber. The non opening window was a slot high up and if you stood on tiptoe there was a fine view of the underground car park. It was a while back, but I guess the policy where you have no idea in advance of what kind of room you're getting hasn't changed. (edited)
