About this deal

EDIT: Price drop to £187.
Managed to get this for £179 a few weeks ago, price now increased to £187, but still a good discount on RRP.
I added an Integral 256gb NVME drive and 2x8gb DDR4 3200 SODIMM memory and had a complete system for c£235, which compares well with your average 'Beelink' or similar mini PCs. I transferred a Windows licence from the old system this has replaced, so now running Windows 11 just fine.
For the money you're getting:
- A desktop Intel i3-12100 CPU with integrated graphics (£100 on its own new) - much more powerful than the intel N100 in a lot of mini PCs
- ITX-format H610 motherboard with built in PSU
- A good quality 120W power adapter
- Aluminium (I think) case with VESA mounting bracket and desk stand. In addition to one M.2 NVME drive this has space for two 2.5inch SATA drives and includes all the cables for this
- Intel Wifi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2
I had been contemplating building a similar system - either Intel or Ryzen 4600g, but couldn't get close to this price for the components.
Clearly this isn't a gaming machine, which wasn't the intended purpose. For me it was a good deal compared to something like a refurbished Lenovo Thinkcentre.
Also available from Misco at £177.59 plus postage, but Trustpilot reviews for Misco didn't look great: misco.co.uk/pro…BwE

What I'm looking at;

I don't know how the GPU compares - it's probably better in the i7-1255U that you linked as it's Iris Xe, so depends how much that matters to you.
You should be able to add 16gb RAM and a 1TB SSD from decent brands to the PC in this thread for c£110, so comparable system prices are £300 vs £650. I don't think the mini PC at £650 is a great deal, but isn't directly comparable due to being much smaller.
Great find. (edited)
It has a USB C port on the back (edited)
4 and 5.
They might need to check that.
