Key Features

Feature-packed and powerful sounding, the WiiM Amp delivers everything you need from a single, compact device.

One device does it all
The WiiM Amp packs a huge amount into its sleek and compact casing. A punchy, 60 watts per channel amplifier belies its small size and is powerful enough to deliver room-filling sound. Bluetooth, wi-fi, USB and HDMI connectivity lets you connect a vast range of different components, including your TV.

Room-filling sound
Using a sophisticated TI 3255 amplifier circuit, the WiiM delivers an impressive 60 watts per channel to your choice of speakers. Match it with 4 ohm speakers and the potential power climbs to a mighty 120 watts per channel – enough for high volume levels in even the largest rooms. A dedicated subwoofer output means that you can also link the Amp to your choice of active subwoofer.

Tailor the sound to suit you
A wide range of sound settings are available via the WiiM app. These include 24 preset EQ settings, a 10-band EQ that’s individually adjustable to suit each source input and a 4-band parametric EQ for fine-tuning. Thanks to this precise control, it’s easy to get exactly the right sound for your music and room acoustics.

Supports your favourite music streamer
The WiiM Amp supports a wide range of popular music streaming services, including Spotify, Amazon Music, Tidal, Napster, Deezer, Qobuz and more. Internet radio and podcasts are also supported. Alternatively, connect to your local network attached drive and wireless stream your own, stored music files.

Chromecast audio and AirPlay 2
Whether you use Android or Apple iOS devices, the WiiM Amp has you covered. Chromecast Audio is the Android music streamer that accesses the Google Play store for a vast range of audio app solutions. Support for AirPlay 2 lets you stream audio directly from your Apple device, making this player equally suited to both systems.

Spotify and Tidal Connect
If use Spotify and/or Tidal apps, the WiiM Amp is compatible with their ‘Connect’ feature (premium account required). This lets you use the Spotify or Tidal apps to take direct control of the Amp, giving you a seamless experience as you switch between devices.

Two-way Bluetooth for local, wireless pairing
For direct audio streaming from your smartphone or tablet, simply link via Bluetooth. The two-way Bluetooth system also lets you pair with your wireless headphones, making the Amp ideal for private listening.

Connect your TV and other digital devices
As well as streaming capabilities, the WiiM Amp connects to your TV and other digital devices. Use the HDMI to connect to TV, making this amp and your choice of speakers a great alternative to a soundbar. There’s also an optical input, making the Amp ideal for linking up to your games console, Blu-ray or CD player.

USB and analogue inputs
Plug in your USB media device and stream audio files through the WiiM Amp. There’s also an RCA input that’s perfect for a line level hi-fi source, such as a CD player.

For complete audio satisfaction, just add speakers.

I just sent wiim amp back last week via amazon, it was on a £270 deal, i have the gen1 sonos amp and although i want to shift from sonos the sound of the wiim amp was 'poor' compared to sonos. yes it has some of the stuff missing from sonos but if sound quality is important to you then sonos wins, richer deeper bass and clear highs wiim seemed harsh very digital and lacked power, i have wharfdale diamond speakers.
will be interested in what others think of the amp
i can stream super high quality from my network so i dont rely on spotify etc ... i also listen to a lot of world wide internet radio and 'brexit' has meant we cant stream via many 'legit' apps anymore, only uk streams. there are ways around this of course (edited)

I can't really understand how that's possible other than that the eq on the Sonos is preset to your tastes. The WiiM has superior amp and DAC chipsets. So it's very likely that it was purely a personal thing.

I wonder if this has "sleep" and "alarm" settings which Sonos have taken away in their latest iteration of the app.

If it does then I can see a lot of people (myself included) moving over to WiiM

I've only got a Wiim mini so can't comment on the amps abilities, but they really are making good on most of their promises in terns of adding features and refining the software. It's taken a while but Wiim is turning into a really well supported ecosystem at pretty unbeatable prices.
