Might be a silly question but would this fit a non proprietary hoover nozzle? Like Dyson has their little latch but Miele can just connect to anything else as long as the tube size is compatible

If you are vacuuming your car interior there are lots of areas where normal accessories will not reach because they are too large to access confined spaces, eg the gap between the front seats and side panels. That is where this detailing/valeting kit comes in. Because its tools are small and thus the airflow is restricted, there are additional holes in the tool to augment airflow. These are essential to provide sufficient cooling air for the motor. If they are taped over the suction increases alright but so does the motor temperature risking overheating and failure, so don't!
The purpose here is access rather than power. If that sounds applicable to your needs then this kit is very good value at this price (or even £7.25 from Amazon Warehouse!)
