    Bought these just before Xmas. Great headphones, sound is superb for the price. Noise cancelling could be better but still very good for budget headphones

    Can't comment on battery life 80%, but can tell you that noise cancelling was amazing during a recent hospital stay - only way to get some sleep! Sound quality excellent too, with soundcore app, for my music.

    I've bought 2 plus a replacement set of ear foams for when mine theoretically fall apart- 3 years on, still perfect. (edited)

    I also have aquariums around the house and although I run supposedly silent pumps I can hear background noise from the equipment. If I want a movie night in with a better sound experience I put these on and cant hear any of the fish tank pumps, or motors, or equipment at all just the sound from my tv and hifi etc.

    I have had Sony and Bose before, not as good as the Bose, but for the price I think they were better than my Sony.

    I'm not 100% sure, but active noise cancelling basically works by playing the reverse sounds into your ears at a similar volume - so doesn't protect your ears from loud sounds like ear defenders do (edited)

    Would be interested in which ones you feel are best for noise cancelling (without music, if possible)... Asking for someone who is VERY sensitive to sound and needs to block out or at least quieten down general 'life' noise.

    I got a refurb direct from Anker as an out of warranty replacement and it was fine. Not sure that helps here.

    It looks like the 'Certified Refurbished' at the higher price is essentially new compared to the cheaper 'Good Refurbished' which may show signs of use - per the eBay item descriptions.
    If anyone has purchased this cheaper one recently, could you kindly post the condition it was received in, battery life etc.

    I've owned the Q35 for 18 months.
    Used almost every day and battery life is the biggest plus

    Seems to be very well made and last forever!!!

    I got these new about 18months ago and wear them about 4 times a week for tinnitus alongwith an app. By far one of my favourite headphones. I had antisocial and abusive neighbours and when they get annoying I put these on and just have loads more peace
