Just a word of warning, I have had sonos for years and been generally happy with the setup but a couple of weeks ago they migrated their app over to a brand new app which you have to now use. It's caused uproar in the Sonos users community as it's clearly beta software - you can no longer choose a song and "add next" to insert it into the currently playing queue. The search facility is bafflingly terrible now. You can no longer set alarms and wake up routines. Lots of other functions gone. Google Sonos new app and you'll see all the comments from users that have had their systems nerfed completley by this new app.
They say the functions will come back "at a later date" ....

I can’t believe I’ve seen people defending it too. “Sometimes companies have to rewrite their app and they don’t have time to add everything to it” eeeeeeehhhh, no. I’m a software developer. I would only do a complete rewrite if it’s a total mess and doesn’t work. Otherwise I fix the bugs. And if I did a complete rewrite, I wouldn’t release the new one until it’s tested and ready. And complete.

Thanks OP. Been eyeing up these for a few weeks now. With the bundle offer available at Argos, picked two up for £628. I bought via a workplace giftcard scheme too, which saved me another 5%. Basically picked them up at less than £300 each

I didn't see there was a bundle until I read your comment! I get 7% off with my work giftcard scheme so could get a pair for £292 each, but I don't know if I can justify getting two (or convince the missus!)

The new Sonos app is a nightmare on an epic scale. I've experienced multiple issues. I can't add or pair existing speakers. The app frequently loses all speakers and also the sound quality has reduced on my arc, 2 subs and 2 ERA 300s in the front room but has not changed in the exact same setup in my bedroom.

Sonos app now barely usable on my android BUT works OK on the wife's iPhone. Just finished filling the house with speakers as well.
I would avoid until they sort put the app, if they ever do !

That is the most expensive exhaust rubber I have ever seen.

It’s ok you can stick to your Aldi £15 Bluetooth speaker, I’m sure you won’t notice the difference.

I got a price match for two era300’s from smart home sounds who also offer a six year warranty.

Is Quidco tracking 10% at the moment? Then it's the best deal ever on two era300;)
