There's a video out there on You Tube with a guy testing rechargeable batteries.

All the Chinese brands lied about capacity and had inferior performance. I don't think this brand was included, but I'm not going to risk it.

Some of the Amazon reviews are laughable. One customer even said it was good that they charged quickly. Which would be one indicator of poor capacity. (edited)

Thanks. With S&S it was just shy of £11. Paid £10 for the 8 AAs 2 weeks ago.

Will be lost on a month, God knows where they go!

    Can't see 24 pack but 36... Ordered it's 0.68p per battery. S&S.

Can anyone recommend decent value, reliable, good quality brands for rechargeable batteries.

    Many thanks

If you buy decent ones you'll probably find they last longer than value ones. I personally don't look past the Ikea batteries

I've had a load of these for a couple of years and they are great.

I have a number of Enloop and these for xBox pads and I can't say I've noticed a difference in wither brand when it comes to how long the last before needing to be charged.

I have a few Enloop when they were owned by Sanyo. Still going strong after 5 years or so. Mainly used on remotes, shavers, xbox pads and such. It's good to know there's not much difference from the amazon ones as I might need a few soon.

Anyone found any decent 1.5v rechargeables? These 1.2v batteries don't really work in one of my devices but I'm struggling to find decent 1.5v ones

As I understand it, 1.2v is what the chemistry of a NiMH cell delivers. For most devices, it works as the resistance is lower than non-rechargeable.
