Great price for the featureset, complete with fixings.

Flexibility of being able to independently aim direction of panel illumination,
and supplied with line-of-sight remote control to select operation mode & brightness.

Three operation modes when solar panel not supplying charge (i.e. during night-time / darkness):
1) off until motion-triggered full illumination for period until after motion ceases
2) constant 10% dim unless motion-triggered full illumination for period until after motion ceases
3) constant on.

The light source could likely also be used for indoor dark-area applications during daytime if disconnected from solar charge panel (illumination will typically not function whilst solar panel is charging, as the device will assume it is not night-time/dark). Manually reconnect to charge when required for that specific indoor application.

Manu can't decide if supplied with 2000mAh or 2400mAh rechargeable battery but the device is stated to provide total 1000 lumens; all probably hilariously colourful,
as is the seller - but that doesn't matter to HUKD.

This looks like it'd be ideal for the shed, panel outside and light/sensor inside

    For clarity:
will be great for night-time use in a shed, garage or similar indoor application,
but will require some thought if wishing to benefit from the light/motionsensor during periods of daylight (mentioned in OP text).

Three years equates to 1100 charge + possibly full discharge cycles so the battery would have very likely reached end of life,
plus any other trauma associated with such an age.

Battery is usually replaceable - assuming you can undo fixings that have been exposed to three years of weathering.
Fixing corrosion can typically be minimised via preventative small lengths of cloth tape, blutak or similar-concept covering over fixing holes. Some users may prefer grease.
