Washer broke down over Easter. There's a few deals out there but after a good hour or so of looking, this seems like a really good deal.

    Of course I never requested any cancellation whatsoever, but this was the premise they decided to go with not to honour my order.

    I purchased the item shortly after this deal was posted here, so no issues with stock availability.

    I wonder if I have any grounds to speak to Ebay's customer service. For all I know I purchased the item fairly, and the discount code was perfectly valid. The price wasn't exactly ridiculous either; the same machine had been on sale for £320 elsewhere a mere few days ago too. (edited)

    Yep. Frustrating.

    I contacted them to ask what was happening. I got 4 separate emails back from 4 different people just 'thanking me' for my message and to be sure they would take on board my email.

    Very poor. It's pretty obvious they just wanted to make another few quid. Like you say, the deal wasn't a ridiculously low price/obvious mis price.

    I saw another deal with them for the model up which I was tempted with but they can sod off. I've found another washer with Marks Electric with a 5-year warranty and free deliver/installation/recycle.
    A little bit more but worth it for what seems *so far* like a decent company.

    Great price and the depth for this 8kg is 576mm so good for 600mm worktops. The 10kg is around 660mm deep and will stick out for many.

    Yes. My old 7kg Bush from Argos is about 530mm. It seems they do not make 7kg machines any more, I only found one model from a strange brand at Currys.

    Regardless, I think 8kg is better any way.
