Amazon echo 4th gen (not echo dot!) for £54.99 including Philips Hue bulb
Recently I ordered used echo 4th gen from cex for £42, so for not much more (or selling hue bulb) I can have a new one.
This speaker sounds so much better than any echo dot.

    I thought about this yesterday but then remembered returning my fourth generation and going back to the third because the microphones on them are just so bad. Also "OK, dropping in"......followed by nothing which Amazon told me they would fix in 2021. Luckily John Lewis 2yr refund came good.

    They do sound good in a stereo+sub pair though, but obviously not as good as a studio in a pair. (edited)
