    i have a budget of £500 and i need a "50 tv/ i was looking at the Samsung UE50CU8000 50" Crystal UHD 4K because i can get it for £400 with my nhs discount. but im not sure what else is any good.. any views on what i should buy ??

    the tv is used for sky on demand tv shows/box sets and movies. no gaming.

    This is far better as it’s QLED. It’s the middleground between OLED & LED.

    Seems okie for non gamers. But warranty of 1 year only is annoying. At least 3 years would be good.

    wouldnt worry about that to much. if they are anything like the old models you will be looking to replace it in 6 months anyway

    Very disappointing to see a QLED with 60hz. 120hz is buttery smooth and is the most significant difference people would notice between the two. I hope 120hz is the future standard
