Did anyone buy these from Amazon for £199 a couple weeks ago? I tried getting my £10 difference back but they straight up said no
    evilgiraf's avatar
    Buy these.
When they arrive, don’t open them and immediately create a return of the original order.

Thanks op just bit the bullet and purchased. Now need to somehow justify to the Mrs
    gingerwarrior13's avatar
Just wear them when she talks to you and turn on noise cancelling
  3. Adam_Tickner's avatar
Cheeky; i got these at £199 the other day but 2minutes on the live chat got me the difference refunded!

Theyre noticably better than app1 and the noise cancelling is better than apm in my view.

You can save £19 if buying at Very. Can't say anything more(HUKD censorship) you. have to figure out yourself.

£10 cheaper if bought from Amazon Warehouse.
    justjuice808's avatar
I’d rather pay the extra tenner as has some Sony earphones from there before that had ear wax in them .

Received mine today, all good apart from the warranty expires 12/12/24!

Looks like you have to contact Apple to amend it

EDIT : Just sorted it by logging in to Apple ID site, check warranty coverage then it said unable to verify enter purchase date from receipt and it instantly updated to the correct date (edited)

Does anyone know the difference between these and the 2nd gen with lightning case? Is it simply the case? The earbuds are identical?
    mario_2's avatar
These can do lossless audio on Apple Vision Pro, while lightning version can’t. Slightly different splash resistance levels for the case. Otherwise mostly the same and not worth upgrading from lightning Pro 2 to this.

I ordered these 2 weeks ago from Amazon at that price. They sent me a cheap pair of a brand I never heard of. Still fighting to get my money back.
    sircoynie's avatar
Yeo, loads of scams from Amazon around apple devices going on. I’m fighting for my money back on a MacBook that never arrived.

Don’t buy apple stuff from Amazon!
  11. brydodger's avatar
Curry’s will price match if you don’t want to risk using Amazon regarding the comments about scamming. I’ve got curry’s pm
  12. varuk42's avatar
I've managed to get the difference refunded from Curry's.

Great deal, paid £199 when last on offer, now ordered a set for the wife’s birthday 🏻
  16. Jackattack92's avatar
    That’s a steal! I bit the bullet this week at £205 🙈.
  17. humperlumper's avatar
Couldn’t resist this offer :/ thanks op
Been toying with the idea to upgrade from my 1st gen pro, ohhh the excitement

Does MagSafe mean I can charge them wirelessly?
    husnainmohammad's avatar
    Yep
  19. chips1408's avatar
Worried about these being nearly 1.5 years old now, when do they usually release next gen? September?
    levitron's avatar
I'd be on the lookout for the next generation of earphones tech - MEMS drivers. Wouldn't be surprised if the next ones uses MEMS.
  20. shadow_marshal99's avatar
Dropped to 205 last week and now straight down to 189... will it continue down this rapidly?
  21. Kay135's avatar
Fantastic product just a shame that Apple continue to lock multi point connection behind the apple ecosystem. I’d love to use these as my daily driver for work and personal use but they won’t maintain connection to PC and iPhone.
  22. Streetspiritlondon's avatar
Brought these several months ago. Was always hesitant about the apple AirPods but absolutely no regrets, great sound, don’t fall out and incredible noise cancelling
  23. Rimi's avatar
Bose QuietComfort Earbuds II just £10 extra and are better a lot in noise cancelling and sound quality is just amazing.
    Mark_Moorby's avatar
I haven't tried the Bose earphones but owned the airpods when I had an iPhone 14 and they were very good. The noise cancelling on them is the best I've had in any product (and I've owned a lot of recent headphones and earphones). Judging from reviews I would say if you have an iPhone buy the airpods and if you have android buy the Bose.

Here’s some great features of these AirPods Pro 2 that are perhaps not generally highlighted enough:

    Lost them?
    - Use Find My app on iPhone to locate a lost charging case. Or locate *either* of the earbuds if lost. Shows you on a map where they are and helps direct you to all three. Find My can also command all three individual items to making pinging sounds to help find them

Volume control direct from the buds
    - Control volume by swiping up and down on the earbuds' stalk (don't have to touch phone/iPad/MacBook)

    - Even wearing just a single bud, you can still swipe up down on the single stalk to control volume (other makes' true wireless typically dedicate one bud to vol up only and the other to vol down only)

Hear the outside world for conversations
    - The transparency mode is outstanding - the best I've heard on headphones. Press and hold a stalk and the outside world is brought inside with amazing clarity. No need to remove from ears for a brief conversation

    Windows 10
    - For me these also work fine on my Windows 10 work laptop. Listening to Spotify, YouTube, etc. Plus the stalk swipes work for changing the volume and pausing on programs like Spotify and YouTube. Also works for Teams (albeit inside Teams settings you are best selecting your laptop's internal mic as Windows doesn't have a driver for the AirPods mic)

Plus all the other benefits. Highly recommended. (edited)

    These good for gym?
  27. asifthebasif's avatar
Do you think these are better than the AirPod 3rd gen??
    husnainmohammad's avatar
Yes much better. The 3rd gen don't have noise cancellation or transparency mode

Still rockin my OnePlus Z2’s that were a HUKD. Work great with my IPhone 12

Was about to buy from John Lewis this week. This will do nicely.

I know it's not apple to apples comparison, but what do people who have both prefer? Airppods pro (2) or bose qc35? also anyone recieved fake ones from amazon before? (Amaxon EU)
    donmixes85's avatar
Buy from very i never received fake (neither from amazon)
    I dont know the bose...
  32. KingDong's avatar
Bought some after reading all the good reviews. Is the noise cancellation feature just white noise?

I can hear it in the background when playing music at low/medium volume. Kind of annoying.
