Oh wait, it’s not that post
Oh so your Spotify is going up by £1 a month? Here's 3 months of Apple Music on us... AND lossless is included by default.
As a side note, can't wait for Spotify to finally launch lossless for £20/m then cry that no one subbed to it.
If their Android and Windows apps were better, I'd have defaulted to Apple music a long time ago. It was always an excellent service back when I used Apple devices, as I appreciate the clean and simple design. It's actually focused on music.
Spotify, which I still use, seems to get a new UI every week and they continue to push cancerous podcasts and music I have no interest in on the home screen. Oh and now audiobooks too. I don't know anyone who listens to audio books outside of Audible.
Sad thing is with all the albums constantly being removed from artists I like on Spotify, only for the contract dispute to finally be fixed and then to reappear, I'm likely going back to just downloading music through less than legal means.
Why not just buy the music? You don't own the music. I learned this the hard way when I got an email from 7digital saying they were shutting down the store and all my music purchases were gone. Less likely to happen on iTunes, but the point still stands. I'd rather have sketchy mp3/aac collection stored offline and backed up to Google drive.
