Good quality intel DDR5 Z690 motherboard for anyone who's on a budget and doesn't need a Z790 board.

Price is a little cheaper if you use a fee-free card and pay in euros. I paid £153.94 including delivery with a starling card.

No worries , I've been looking for a decent but cheap Z690 board to pair with a 12400f and came across this. (edited)

Bargain, i have this board can't fault it paired with a 12600k. I thought I got it cheap at just over 200 last year or the year before

As a general rule, if you are paying more than half the cost of your CPU for the motherboard, then you are overpaying. Mobo prices have become ridiculous. (edited)

Wow this is cheaper than Prime or TUF range! Heat from me....

That's a really good deal, did a build last week and you can barely get a good b660 for that money. I have the A version of this board. One thing to note there is a rather big bit of plastic over the heat sinc that may block heat pipes if your using an air cooler. You can remove it with one of 2 methods, one including a Dremel. It's purely aesthetic. (edited)

Would this need a 12th gen processor to update the bios to support 14th gen?

As this has bios flash, I think you only need an usb to update it.
