The 7000 SensiDry® Tumble Dryer uses heat pump technology. It dries clothes evenly, at low temperatures, without extending the drying time. Gentle drying ensures items are never subjected to unnecessary heat, so your clothes last longer.

MIXDRY. NO SORTING. NO EFFORT. DRY COTTONS WITH SYNTHETICS
MixDry effortlessly and thoroughly gets synthetic and cotton garments evenly dried without overdrying or underdrying. No sorting needed. The heat-pump technology ensures items get the exact amount of heat, keeping energy consumption low.

PRECISEDRY. SAVES TIME AND ENERGY. PROTECTS YOUR CLOTHES
The advanced humidity sensors of ProSense+ help save time and energy. They proportionally adjust the time and energy usage based on the load size. Providing the right care to every load, so clothes look and feel their best for longer.

THE CONVENIENT TO CLEAN AND ENERGY EFFICIENT, ECOFLOW FILTER
The EcoFlow Filter is an efficient single filter that can be conveniently cleaned. It helps save energy by maintaining stable energy consumption for the lifetime of the product.

ANTICREASE EVENLY DRIES YOUR CLOTHES, HELPING TO REDUCE WRINKLES
The Anticrease technology of our tumble dryer allows the drum to rotate in two directions, which helps clothes dry more evenly, and reduces creases and wrinkles.

THE FULL REVERSIBLE DOOR OFFERS FOUR PRACTICAL HANDLE OPTIONS
The Full Reversible Door lets you choose between four different door handle placement options. So, whether you stack your appliances on top of each other, or place them side by side, you can open the door in the direction that is best for you.

Got this last week through Mark's Electrical with an ebay code, was able to register for a five year warranty which may not be the case if you buy from AEG directly. Odd policy and seen some contradictory things about it. Happy with the dryer itself though, quieter than a previous Beko model and dries in good time. A few minor niggles, the door is plastic rather than glass and it seems possible for it to get scratched by metal buttons on jeans and such, seemed to get polished off in the next cycle though. And I have seen a small amount of condensation within the touchscreen section mid cycle, though it clears up at the end of the cycle when the hot air is circulating.

I read on here that heatpumps need a certain operating temperature and so no good in a garage, shed where temp may drop below 5C

also read reply on here that some use a small electric warmer to overcome thi, apologies for vague recollection. What’s this feature called please, and does this aeg have it? Great price, and in need of a new dryer.

Heat pumps work fine in cooler temperatures. I wouldn't want to use them under 7° but only because that's a frost hazard and I don't want the drain freezing! Efficiency does tail off as ambient temperatures drop and humidity increases but you'll never come to a wet wash unless you've entirely overloaded the machine. (edited)

I’ve had an AEG dryer for many years. The thing is a blessing especially when it comes to towels and the like, removes water and dust by the bucket
Not sure about it in certain conditions like a garage but it works like clockwork in my kitchen.

The only thing I would add is that it is ridiculously noisy… that and it takes a long time for certain items such as towels to completely dry. For clothes and other items the built in sensor auto detect and reduce the time to dry. Overall a great purchase so I would always recommend AEG.

I have mine in the garage, works well. I find it to be quite quiet but it is not in the house.
