I bought this and didn't get on with it. Not very powerful and missed hairs. I bought a Wahl electric shaver £40 of Amazon. Its way better than the Braun.

I found it to be on my old series 7 which died but ordered the new series 5 as a replacement.

Good price for a 5 series, wouldn’t go back to one of these after using the OneBlade though.

Just as a warning, depending on how old your Series 5 is, this won't be anywhere near as good, quality-wise!

I have the old series 5 and always a good clean shave. However the replacement foils are getting harder to source, and around £30 +. SO - bought this one. Many thanks

Decent price but retail price is often found at £60 odd. Bought one the other week and am happy with it especially coming from a series 3

The foils on Braun are just awful

Thanks bought this in the hope it will give a good shave on my coarse hair. First electric shaver. I had been advised to get a Panasonic (Arc 5) as they are apparently best for coarse stubble.

Received this series 5.

Gives a nice clean shave, and a bit quieter than my old 5 series.

The head doesn't pivot, it's fixed which isn't as good as older 5 series. Plus, no sideburns trimmer, meaning I have to hold on to my old one just for that.

A decent buy at 45 quid, would never have paid 125 or whatever the rrp was.
