how does this compare to the normal Bunnahabhain?

I believe the 12 year old is their original whisky, then due to lower stock levels of the 12 due to increased popularity, they brought out the “Stiuireadair“ (at a lower price point) which is a no age statement whisky that they can produce much more quickly. So stiuireadair will taste “younger”, for whatever that’s worth! By all accounts the 12 is “better”, but taste is of course subjective
