    The screen is the weak point here, only 250 nits is maximum dim… won’t find a dimmer laptop screen in 2024.

    Agreed.. a 250 nit display is much worse than only coming with 8GB of RAM, imho!

    Not sure if this has upgradable ram, or if it charges via USBC but the ASU’s posted other week on Amazon has a close performance cpu and upgrade able ram and a higher brightness ips display - £299 and same size and res display (edited)

    The Asus1605YA 16 for £299 with 300 nit screen was a no brainer compared to this dell .
    I would wait for a better priced Asus 16 vivobook deal as that last £299 deal has probably gone back up in price . (edited)
