Hmm nice to see a smaller screen appear for once. Going to do some research on this ...

I got one from ITZOO last summer, £150 for the 8GB/256GB at the time and am pleased with it. Soldered ram so can't be upgraded so this 16GB is better. You can add a second NVME to it as well, but it needs to be a B+M keyed 2242 which aren't too common, but I got a Kingspec one from aliexpress that works fine.

Is there anyway to remove Windows 11 and replace it with Windows 10?

Yes. Just create a bootable USB install drive with either official tool or rufus. I would recommend using Win 10 Enterprise LTSC IoT as it is without the bloat that is included with the retail version and has support until 2032. Search for massgravel on github for more info.

Scratching on the screen puts me off

We had these at work. The scratches come from the keys pressing against the screen when it’s closed and being moved around. They are more like blemishes, and aren’t visible when the screen is switched on. That was my experience, anyway.

Minimum 2 hours battery life? Are you feeling lucky?

Minimum 2 hours standby life if it was actually minimum 2 hours normal use that would be great. Not sure how long standby lasts on a typical laptop. On one of my laptops I left it in my backpack after closing the lid so in standby and didn't take it out until 2 days later and there was still charge there. So 2 hours standby seems like a potential 5-10 minutes of actual use unless I've confused myself somehow. The laptop in question was a low power Celeron laptop with 11.3" 720p screen with a maximum battery life of up to 16hours but I have in a pseudo performance mode for the Celeron and get about 8-9 hours.

Anyone know off the top of their heads if the ram is upgradable?

    Comment above states no.

Is this model less than 1.2kg? I'm tired of lugging my legion around uni (must weigh over 2.3kg I'm guessing) and looking for something lightweight.

Mine arrived today and aside from the label stuck on underneath saying a screen resolution of 1366x768 when it’s actually got the FHD screen it’s fine. There’s a bit of wear in the trackpad as you’d expect, but no scratches or marks on the screen itself; only on the outside of the case. I’m not sure if they all have them, but mine’s got a smart card and fingerprint reader.

The Windows license activated perfectly without any problems, but I’m just about to wipe it again and try Windows 10.

Has your keyboard been repainted or reprinted? Mine has and it’s got a horrible feel and the back light no longer goes through it!
