About this deal

The deal is for Drayton Wiser smart TRV purchased via the Screwfix App with the code. Free c&c. Amazon and Screwfix have increased their price over the last 2 days but with the voucher this is cheaper than the previous price.

Note the TRV requires a Wiser Hub to connect with the boiler.

    Considering that these smart trv's run on batteries, how long do these tend to last and isn't it a headache to have to replace the batteries every so often?

    Reviews suggest that the batteries last about 1 year but obviously this will depend on the battery quality and how often the TRV operates. Rechargeable batteries are not recommended because the alkaline are normally 1.2V and Lithium batteries shouldn’t be placed close to a heat source. I have just had them fitted as part of a boiler change so can’t comment from personal experience. (edited)
