Anyone know if this bike has a throttle, so can go without any pedal assist?
    apple21's avatar
I doubt it, but i put a throttle on mine and it is just a waste of time as all you have to do is spin peddles in lowest gear to make the bike go and that is no effort at all, so i dont use it anymore and will remove it when i get time, wish i had not bothered really.

    Horrible spec.
This is nothing more than a cheap nasty < £100 bike with a poor battery and motor strapped on.

Where's your evidence it's a 'poor battery' ? It looks like a pretty standard ebike battery to me. And it looks like a standard hub as well.

It is cheap - yes, but overall quality of all components (mechanical and electric) is very low. It is not a bargain, you will get exactly what you are paying for.

Rear disc brake mount on frame by the looks of it, I wonder if the rear motor hub has disc brake rotor holes ?
It doesn't get much cheaper than this for a pre built ebike if that's what you are after and have a limited budget

Hmmm, interesting. already have a standard hybrid bike. marin. may buy this and get the kit off it to electrify mine as it is a 29er. hmmm

    Buy conversion kit instead. (edited)

I mean that doesnt read v well… is it another way of saying this is a fire hazard? And store it in the garage… that is where most people keep petrol for their lawn mower

Sounds like a death trap to me

That is a good advice actually.

    What ages this best for?
    rugman's avatar
14 or over, that's the legal minimum age for ebikes used on the road (edited)

V break on the e-bike with 28" wheels? Maybe for a Sunday short ride.

    • Maximum rider weight 100kg. O NO THIS WHY IT IS CHEAP

In a country with such a big obesity problem, you shouldn't give electric bikes to people who weigh more
