    What happens if you buy the phone and then don't go through with the trade in? It seems to remove the £100 up front at the time of purchase...

    The price they are offering for my old phone is awful. I'd rather keep it as a backup. (edited)

    what if I don't send my pixel 6a? the trade in value for is £58 - definitely worth more.

    Got this from JL a couple of months ago where there was a code to take it down to this price no trade in needed...also prior to this missed out on the S23 (base model) from them that was going for £300 with a code! (edited)

    For anybody interested, I've just bagged the pixel 8 from the google store. £629 for 256GB but they gave me £205 trade in for a sammy s21fe. I only paid £270 for it 3 years ago. £424 after trade in for 256GB.

    Typical... Just bought one of these from JL two days ago and already in use so can't return it.

    Not only missed out on the £30 discount but also the option of this trade in means I would have chucked them an old phone with £6 trade-in value for £100 off (I know these can't be combined... either or would have been nice!).

    As well as the price going up I cant get the code to work on its own. GOOGLETRADE100 (or the 8a £175 code).... i assume it needs a trade in to be in the basket as well. (edited)
