On topic like all the innuendo comments posted on the underwear deals?!

qbs

You clearly didn't stop to think how hurtful your comments might have been to anyone suffering from Dutch elm disease. How could you be so crass? :{

MrFizzy

Just had an email to say my comment saying that the use of an 'elm' bluetooth device was a 'tree-mendous idea' had been removed. I'm told I need to keep the discussion on-topic and be courteous to others. I would therefore like to take this opportunity to sincerely apologise for the hurt and offence that my terrible attempt at humour has caused. Maybe the mod that deleted my comment will be brave enough to explain exactly why my comment was such a problem or, then again, perhaps they will just delete this comment.

mehmeh

I have one of the EML327 bluetooth plugs which I use with Torque Pro. I think I paid about £6 for the plug and £3 for Torque and this is going back gawd knows how many years now. For £20 you could buy a cheapo standalone reader, (bluetooth is too laggy for real time data analysis ime). I think Groupons refund policy is pretty crappy too, bad luck OP.

redbalthazar

You're just plain wrong about the food and drink, there's no problem at all. I believe P&O might have restrictions on their Hull routes but DFDS certainly don't on this one. We paid £104.50 booking directly for four of us with sea-view cabin and transfers to Amsterdam. Amazing value. The kids absolutely loved being on the boat so it wouldn't have mattered if we'd only had time for lunch in Amsterdam, as long as we knew that in advance, as it was all about the trip for us. My point is that dismissing this offer is unfair as it's excellent for some people, as with most things. And it was irritating to see the "bobbing about in the North Sea isn't a cruise" comment repeated again to because someone thinks it sounds clever.

Daza_69

When we went they were selling 6x500ml water on the boat for 10 euro. Equivalent cost of the Costco water would be about 50p! Don't forget to take your own. Amber leaf 10x50g was about £90 200 L&B was about £70.

raff007

What you’ve compared this to is not what’s offered though is it? You stayed an extra night, how much extra was that? Agree with all the comments you get next to no time in the dam, and from past experience they search your bags before getting on cause they don’t like you taking your own food n drink in!

gordo1964

When we went on the p&o hull mini cruise deal, we stayed for an extra night. Well worth it. The p&o offer usually runs during autumn and spring.

jennabeown

I have been a member for 2 yrs, my car is under 10 yrs old so thought i'd just get the cheapest in case it broke down and was a bit sceptical but my experience has been good. I called as I had a puncture, they responded to the call quickly, my connection was bad so they took my number and called me back. They use local contractors who called me and gave me an ETA. Turned up a bit later than advised (bit it was 5.30pm which I called so expected) but changed my tyre so it's all I needed. My friend has it also and he had a good experience after his brakes seized, they sent a guy to fix it. I was thinking I may have wasted my money, but it's been OK for me. If you have a decent car which you know is in reasonable condition and just need cheap cover in case the worst happens which you are unlikely to use then go for it.

Feneture

Looking at the reviews of Emergency Assist I would definitely avoid this company like the plague!

What a bunch of ridiculous comments, if you've never experienced ATS, stop damaging this community of legitimate reviewers. If you've got something legitimate to say, say it, if not, keep quiet and let experienced ATS users comment on this post. My own experience with ATS, my car failed on Co2 test, and they told me to go blast it on the M road, and bring it back so they can hook up the car and re-test Co2 when the car's hot, and it passed. Friendly team and no probs.

Not sure about any of the others but chesford grange was an absolute dump when we stayed there. Paid quite a bit to stay for a friends wedding, and we had nothing but problems. The spa was filthy and tiny, with kids running around everywhere and splashing about in the pool (I know that’s what kids do, I just didn’t expect it in a place marketed as a spa). We ended up complaining. Might be a reason some of these are cheap!

We love walking & the outdoors & at no point were we expecting rides. However we found most places to be unkept or dangerous broken parts. Also they have a touch, smell, feel area for younger kids. Our daughter wanted to try it all. The herb garden was just weeds, again with most parts broken or run down. The worst for us was when our daughter put her hand in a touch box (you can't see inside) saying feels like play dough. To my partners horror it was filled with bird poo. Not a small amount either, after we found most touch boxes were filled with it. My point simply being if you have younger children just beware staff do not seem to take care of areas. I'd understand if this was a free park, however it's not!

horsepills

We've been a couple of times, and our kids loved it. I suspect a lot of people go expecting it to be comparable to a theme park with loads of rides, etc... It's more suited to people who like the outdoors, with assault courses and trails, etc... Looking at all the video game deals you two post, I'm not surprised you found it "boring". Best stick to sitting on the couch playing PS4, eh?

Serialkillerz82

We visited here a few months ago. I'm sorry to say but not only is it boring but run down & dirty.

Not been here but - I have been on a few of these breaks with this site and different sites. When get there though, seems they put you in furthest part of hotel (room) and away from main dining room and other diners. Filling up space! I suggest you cherck first when booking. The only way this will be beaten is if somewhere like Morrisons does a 3 for 2 on them again.

Romin.Nassiri

Why is this cold? if you get the starter pack (album and 5 packs) also bundled in with the box of 100 packs it works out £67.99. That’s just under 65p per pack. TCB 12% returned £8.16. So final cost per pack is 57p... I can’t see that beaten

MajorCheese

I really have no idea how they get a "professor" to come up with these headline numbers. Surely swapping is a big part of the fun. I know I'm lucky to live in Manchester where there are regular 'swap' meetups normally. We went along to a couple at the football museum/Urbis during the euros album and filled most of it there, had to send off for the last 20 or so, mostly shineys. I think this year will cost us max £110. That's allowing for lost/damaged/unswappables. As the "professor" says - 137 packs. Well that's £89 to fill the album at Groupon/Argos/Ebay prices (65p/pack). Not counting gifts from Granny/Grandad etc.

I went on a three hour snowboarding lesson here today, equipment was plentiful as decent. Staff were friendly and helpful, told you what you need to know, were on hand if you needed support, but let you get on with it. By the end of the first three hours I was having great fun going down the slope. A few things to keep in mind... If doing snowboarding your day is essentially learning to stop, which is key. Sliding down a slope is easy (genuinely, I did it within my first session) but controlling/stopping is harder. Because the first couple of hours are essentially standing on your toe or heel end there is a lot of leg work. Be prepared to feel the burn in your calf and quad muscles. Take a change of clothes, even if you don’t think you’ll fall over, you probably will, and even if you don’t, you’ll likely spend time sitting on your bum... I wore 2 pairs of joggers and my inner pair of joggers had massive wet patches. Finally, be prepared to write off the rest of your day (especially if you do it on a morning when the clocks go forward!!), got home absolutely shattered!!

Andrew James is good brand with replaceable bulb (and the unit comes with a spare too) it's about a tenner more than this. I've had mine four years and only just changed the bulb with virtually daily use. I've got lots of stuff including echo dot, smart TV, hue lights, etc and this is still my best buy out of all of them.

chocci

fair enough although that doesnt come with the trays (only racks) and doesnt look like the bulb is replaceable so it will be in the bin within a few years. Stlil think the andrew james one is better value at £42 as it includes the trays and a spare bulb which cost about £12. And a 2 year warranty.

These are only £29.99 at Robert Dyas and theres another 10% off if you sign up to their news letter

one should pay no more than £25 I think. it's NOT an air frier, but it's a nice thing I use on almost daily basis. Don't know if their bulbs are replaceable, but suspect they are.

Brit cycling puts pressure on athletes to do this which is pretty shocking.

psargeant

I used to run competitively before the shift to cycling.... Many times before a race, I'd see other athletes take a few puffs and wondered if there was any advantage, it did cross my mind to ask for a couple of shots, just to see what it was like to "open up the airways"...Bizarrely I've never seen an asthmatic in cycling, or I should say someone with an inhaler, perhaps done out of site, don't know....I was a Cat 2 rider...a pretty rubbish one...!

mcrobbj

Tues is the mechanism that they may use but it asma drugs that they are on. Its seems to get on the British cycle team you need to be asthmatic.is not just Bradley at it.

Not hot or cold. FYI 4 of us stayed 3 nights at the Travelodge at Lytham St Annes last August for a whopping £66 in total. No parking but lots of free on street parking. Tons of decent restaurants on the main street and surrounding area and the beach/prom. And free wifi from the M&S Food Store below us!

Wasn't a sweeping statement.. but was about those slating it without having been there.. by all means it's open to fair criticism such as yours. But faux snobbery about sleeping in someone's shed makes me laugh.

nice-new

I don't like camping. I don't like Spain. I guess I only like my house.^^

0ddball80

A shed costs a few hundred quid, a decent camping pod costs a few thousand. There is a bit of a difference in construction quality. Camping in a tent is just paying to sleep in a field covered by a canvas sheet but it hasn't stopped hundreds of thousands of people from enjoying it. Some people will get it, others will be happier with a week in Spain and a free bar (I like both equally).

I don't know, I went on live chat with them about 11:30pm last night and i was answered within about a minute. I suspect if you paid for the "premium" draw, you'd have a slightly higher chance of getting a passable watch, but i'd also wager that if you paid for the standard one, you'd likely get one of these ..

It's worth noting that Grangeprint will (usually) offer additional prints for a hugely discounted price once your first GroupOn voucher is applied and added to your basket. I just purchased the 12" x 12" GroupOn offer then added 2 more prints at £5 per print. Total cost was £18.90 for three 12" x 12" canvas prints; 1 x £3.95 (GroupOn) 2 x £5 (Grangeprint) 1 x £4.95 (Postage) This is a great deal and the quality is pretty good for the costs (assuming you uncheck all the extra options that are offered)

I’m curious as to how this qualifies as “casual” although I suppose it’s not exactly formal. Also, this would steam up like those nasty clear PVC boots and shoes that someone tried to make into a trend. Just. Say. No.

It’s not like they wouldn’t be wearing anything else. Though even the most beautiful mug against a window looks like a horses butt. I can’t really see how this would be flattering.

Can you cancel this straight after you subscribe and it’ll still run out in 3 months?

Once subscribed, go to your account and then subscription and 'upgrade to HiFi' then it just changes, uncharged for the rest of trial. You can even cancel now and just to make sure you don't pay later if you forget, it just stops at the end of the proposed trial :)

Nope copying is not theft. Copying is copying the original is still there. I don't subscribe to the idea that you can produce what is in essence a series of 1s and 0s and have complete control over who has access to it. This 'intellectual' copyright, especially when you put it out on YouTube that's blatant like putting your wedding tackle in the mouth of a crocodile and expecting it not to bite. We used to have physical medium to keep, but it's far fetched to expect people to pay for thin air which is what a download is. Why can't I take my downloads and legalise access to them thru streaming off tidal or Spotify, I suppose it will come. Musicians need to charge more for live performances ie get out and earn their talent. Please note whilst I started acquiring mp3s in 1997 I started much earlier than that with zx81 games in 1982. I still have plenty of CDs but I intend to get rid of all soon
