    I have these in the garage they are good. They have a 450mm depth unlike the cheaper ones that are smaller. I would paint the thin hardboard (which does dip) with some cheap wood paint if you don't want it to get algae on it.

    I bought two of these units last year for the garage, I've other units (older) and those boards have never had an issue, the boards with these Halfords units all went mouldy.

    Definitely agree that they need coating in something!

    Thanks OP cudos for posting a Halfords deal. Halfords used to regularly feature on here with some good deals now and then .
    Sadly they are like Supermarket club cards at the moment. They put the price up, then claim a reduction when they reduce the price to what it should be!
