OOS : (

My mate has just taken out a Sony xperia 10 (Worth £279 Sim Free) on a £30per month, 24 month contract, with 4GB Data. His excuse for not asking me? He dropped his S6 and needed a phone straight away, and didn't have my number, so annoying.

My bad, I've been up all night so maybe I am just being grouchy. But it is annoying that my mum is paying £30-£40 for a low end Samsung.

I agree with most of your points, but I wouldn't have used the word 'mug'

So many great powerful phones for cheap these days. Flagships from Sony, Nokia, HTC, LG, the Chinese bunch, all can be had for peanuts. And sky's £7.50 or £12.50 sim is amazing. Your a mug if your paying £30+ per month for a contract. Buy used, get a good sim deal. I still use pay as you go classic on my grade A Xz1 and credit lasts ages.

Not just battery but has slightly bigger screen and most importantly of all in my opinion an extra Gb of ram. Never used nfc myself so the m20 is definitely my next phone when it reaches 170 just cause I'm a scrooge :)

Thanks I looked, doesn't have NFC so not an option. Like the battery size though.

Use search its been posted on here, it's on amazon Spain, no sure what the other question is,

Voxi is for under 30's and only have customer service via chat from another country. You get endless social media use free without using data like Snapchat but I've found he has all his data left. I changed the settings as they told me too but still the same. It's really not good if you want good customer service.

You can put in any sim you want as long as it's nano size. If you don't need a memory card then you can put in any 2 sim cards you want because it's dual sim. Only one of the 2 sims used in the phone can be used for data at a time but you can easily switch 3G/4G between the 2 sims if needed. Generally speaking, 'SIM free' indicates the phone isn't locked to a particular network.

Could I just put in my non contract SIM card in this and start straight away

thanks dude

Looks that way, sorry mate

has this sold out? looks like im too late

Colour not normally highest priority for me but went for the blue just for a change from black and it really is a looker. Most reviews seem to agree that it is a pretty eye catching finish with the chevron effect on the back That said I've currently got it in a flip cover so not really much of it on show!

I'd choose blue, but have never seem them in person.

Thinking to buy v20. What's the best colour to have black or blue?

Had the View 20 for couple weeks now. Certainly best phone I've owned. Upgraded from Honor 9 which itself was a great phone. Highly recommend it if you are considering it

The Amazon Italy mi 9 deal is very tempting. It depends what features you value though. I'd say the camera on the mi 9 is better but this will definitely have better battery life.

Planning to buy it next month if nothing else interesting comes out, I'm torn between this and the mi 9 for its wide angle camera bit no headphone jack

It's an impressive phone but history shows that the prices of these honor phones drop quickly.

I had the OnePlus 6t for a bit, I much prefer the View 20. Got to love that headphone jack!

Yep, definitely Honor set up bar higher, deep into 1+ territory, no one can deny that

Had mine for a few weeks and it's been great! Camera looks good to me and it's internals are top end!

I doubt that is the case (Honor line lower than Mate line) Very glossy on outside, but reviews are also pointing out Honor 20's shortcomings - obviously Leicas on back of Mate 20 not easy to beat, even though not Pro model

Hot from me. I would say this is better than the Huawei Mate 20 (not the pro version). Better screen, more ram and better camera...

I'd take the XZ1 personally, and I have done. The performance is better, the camera is better, it's waterproof: the letdown for some will be the dated design but I don't think it's an issue myself.

It's just fancy name of used/return handsets..

What does refurbished mean good or bad

'Please note that this mobile phone will always include the handset and battery' Just lol, somebody out there must be selling boxes without phones or phones without battery...

We have the honor 10 and it's a delight, much, much better than the p20 lite and quite possibly even the p20. My wife had the p20 lite and then this. She hated the p20 lite, but loves this. I can't comment on the xz1 This is a great price for a great phone.

Have used a p20 pro and honor 10. Honor 10 was remarkably close overall.

Yea noticed that, mate 20 pro even at grade b thought it would have gone hot. Mate 20 pro is only android phone that has near apple like costs. Even though been around for a while, the contract prices are still sky high

Not muc tbh, but the deals I've posted this morning haven't got much love, maybe I'm losing my touch :D

Apart from the slightly underwhelming battery, this is an amazing phone! The screen is only LCD, but it may be the best LCD I have ever used on a phone.

If you want H V20 check laptops direct and 6 months paypal credit will cost £85.20 a month total £511.17 so little more than RRP cost, exactly what you could save on ID contract, so total cost would stay the same but without contract https://www.laptopsdirect.co.uk/honor-view-20-sapphire-blue-6.4-128gb-4g-unlocked-sim-free-51093hlc/version.asp If you have Halifax/RBS they should have Spar/Waitrose 5/8/10% cashback, buy amazon credit or or john lewis gift cards and buy the phone with up to £50 off.

Yeah good point, I've been contract free for about 5 years myself and usually buy past years flagships on ebay, bit tempted by something new for once!

Are these sums wrong? £731 this deal total - £498 Amazon ÷ 24 months deal is £9.71 a month for a SIM only?

Best phone out, by a long chalk, for the cash.. Currently using the 8/256gb variant... With the free Magic Watch... Loving it all the way.. Not a bad deal if u don't wanna fork out almost 500 outright. Heaty

£29 per month with 4GB of data. what a joke. like brexit.

You can buy this phone outright for £498 on amazon which would leave you £19 a month to do a sim only deal which on someone like three would get you completely unlimited data too. Just a heads up if you don’t want to get into a long contract

Fab phone, one of the best yet! This deal is great for those that want a real iphone alternative, that has looks from the 22nd century.. not the 17th (highfive) Not sure this deal can be beaten with that upfront fee and such a low monthly outlay, tiptop spot @ottering (y)

Watch towards the end for video recording...

It has 4k video recording capability but no image stabilisation at 4k only at HD. Also 4k doesn't help bring more light in low light situations....

On appliances direct it says..... "thanks to the camera's 4K recording ability. Your videos will be filled with jaw-dropping detail and stunning clarity, whether it's holiday footage or a family gathering". Clearly not accurate then :/ .

Personally like my Huawei phones I have the p10 lite (getting honor 8 x soon maybe)....thing I do not like is the camera takes horrific over processed non day light pics. Come out all grey.... And your blinded by the flash 📸. My lad just got honor play yesterday, he's had huwaei p8 lite... storage ran out.
