The result is a wonderfully smooth whisky with a character shaped by the flow of time. At the heart of this whisky are flavours from iconic distilleries.Enjoy opulent spice from a distilleries such as Blair Athol in the Highlands. We are all Whisky (Whiskey) snobs, so there!

I personally prefer single malts of a certain taste but will bend to the blend . . . the odd time.

At todays pricing structure this is a good buy, they used to call it Platinum but is a super blend and probably better than the Blue - smooth and very drinkable.

There are nice blends out there and this is one (but only for the whisky drinkers among us)

For me This is a great deal.

I've had some lovely blended malts over the years, and I think you can get a product that's better than the sum of its parts. I'm sure this is decent, but I bet there are much better blends for £65 or there. But if you are really hung up on it being 18 years old, then I doubt there are many options at the price.

Problem is (yes I have never found a JW of any type that I like), this is not a blended malt even, it's a blend of malt & cheap grain whisky......just having been in barrels for 18 years does not make it a good drink.

This at £65 or Naked Malt at say £25........I'd choose the naked malt every time, 100% malts & smoother & more complex than this JW offering even with no age statement

I had a miniature of this and was shocked by how bad it was. Buy the Green label instead.
