I cant believe I wasted all that money on my 4k TV, Onkyo receiver, q acoustics 300i series floor speakers and Cambridge audio ceiling speakers when I could have just experienced dolby atmos on this

I got one of these to replace a Kids Fire 8 HD, seriously BEST UPGRADE!

The firehd wasnt terrible.. but this is so much better, proper android, slightly bigger, brighter, lighter.. and battery rocks!

if i was looking to grab another tablet today, this would be it

Exactly the same here, we just bought a bumper protection case and overall much prefer it to fire

For this size of tablet and price range, I think the Samsung Tab A9 has the best specs.

However if you want a larger screen, the Honor X9 beats them both, depending on your use case. (edited)

But A9 is £80 more, is it worth the price difference?

Interesting they are only supporting the security maintenance until 2026.

Is this fast enough for a lag free experience using the yousician app when connected to a physical piano via the usb port? (edited)

Unless there's someone who's tried it. You could look at the tablet specs here and compare it with a recommended device (or a YouTube video of someone using a device with same cpu and ram) m.gsmarena.com/len…php

Galaxy Tab S5e? I have one of those - better screen and bigger battery but software updates ended a few years ago.

Hows does this compare to the Huawei Matepad SE 10.36? Thanks
    AngryCoffeeTable's avatar
    It doesnt.

Matepad is bigger and has better resolution. M9 has an ever so slightly stronger chipset but not by much.

I have this M9 and the bigger M10 Plus and the M10 Plus with the bigger res makes viewing video content a lot more enjoyable experience where as the M9 is passable enough to get by. 1080p in youtube will still look a little fuzzy.

I work from home a lot so I use the M9 to watch youtube and listening to podcasts while working at my computer and general use around the house, while the M10 is for watching stuff while in bed.
