The unique code - but not account related - is z2u6aptnd.They have some good products: Web cameras, mice, keyboards and even the previous indoor version of Circle camera if anyone is lucky to use this code. For Logitech support their e-mail (not on their Web site) is: customercare@logitech.com.Regarding outdoor cameras - just a practical thought. Apart from the top-range commercial variants, outdoor cameras require sun shield - otherwise they overheat on hot days. With a bit more casing you may be able to use an indoor camera outdoors. Obviously, they will require mains power, but there are some well performing indoor cameras well below £100. Something like a floodlight case with glass removed may provide sufficient cover. The concept of battery-operated WiFi cloud camera is just not providing security.

They haven't even replied my request to return the items yet, but obviously 10% isn't going to seal it!!

That's isn't a bad plan but I might have a look at the Ring Stick Up but attach it to a solar panel so I don't have to charge it. I am running out of options! if Nest didn't charge so much I would have gone for that as I have the thermostat to install.

The wi-fi kept dropping out so consequently lost recordings and moving the camera close to the router made no difference. The product support is terrible, not replying to emails, they must be inundated with unhappy customers having purchased this product. It looks like a quality product but in reality it's a load of rubbish and I can't find a suitable alternative.

Completely agree mate. Very frustrating

However, after months of research into different products I noticed that there are very few sites publishing feedback from real users. The manufacturers are arrogant enough to advertise a list of attractive features, knowing that they will not work. The initial reviews are published by those who got the product for free or on a refundable basis, went through the marketing prospects, opened the box, connected to the network and wrote "WOW! What a great innovation".My testing is not of a design but of a performance. Some of the core things I need to find out are:1) What device support it has (mobile and desktop), I need the software to work with at least one of the major desktop browsers and either in a browser or app on a mobile;2) Motion detection - starting indoors where distances are shorter, lighting conditions more stable and there is more movement. If a camera captures a reasonable proportion of movement - I detect the best position and tests continue outdoors.3) Night vision - night view is black&white but camera LEDs should assist in providing a recognisable image.I have an indoor camera that performs well enough to be used as a benchmark (being several times cheaper). Therefore part of the testing includes placing a new camera next to this one and comparing the output.A small but indicative detail: number plate recognition - in Arlo numbers could not be read, with Circle 2 I aborted tests earlier.Without this kind of user acceptance testing performed and widely available , marketing process works well, especially if a camera is purchased to monitor pets at home. Also, if you are unwilling to pull cables outside, your choices are very limited.I had a long correspondence with Netgear who were giving useless advices avoiding to admit the product was not fit for purpose. Logitech at least did not ask any questions.

Totally agree on all of your points. I have a Canary All in One indoors which I like a lot however the delay in live view is around 9 seconds for me. Today they have just released an update for it which makes it nearly instant so I may just stick with that and get Ring Floodlight to go outside. All these reviews by people getting things for free is very misleading, why can't they just be honest! Circle 2 has an average rating (rightly so IMO) on Amazon, but if you read the reviews it's nearly all the free people who give it 4 or 5 stars, I just can't see what they are basing their reviews on!
