    So to be clear this is basically a bunch of extra tracks and some nick nacks?

    Are any of the extra tracks easier than the standard ones? - Asking as it'll be my son's first time having a crack at this!

    It is basically like having a whole new Mario Kart 8 to add to the existing game. 48 extra courses and additional characters, the physical extras with this are just a bonus and quite simply a better version to gift someone. Some tracks are easy but this game has the option for drive assist, so young players can’t fall off the track. Making it easier regardless of the difficulty of the course.

    I recently bought the Switch OLeD bundle with Mario Kart Deluxe, is this an extra pack that adds on extra courses to what’s already in the ‘standard’ Deluxe game I’ve got as part of the bundle?

    Probably a stupid question but the Deluxe naming convention in both is confusing me

    Does this apply to multiple devices in a family group?

    I know for the game, anyone can play it on the primary Switch, but only the main account can play it on the other Switch we have.

    So for the kids to play we have the download on the primary Switch and the cart on the other Switch. Would this pack be available on both as well? Or just the primary Switch ?

    If the account that purchases it is added to both console's, both can play it (but not at the same time, same as a digital game). As this is purchased, as opposed to through a subscription, any users on the primary console can play it

    Maybe a dumb question but I've just bought a switch for my sons xmas and it came with Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. Is this an add-on for that game or does the deluxe version already have all the extra content, is there a mario kart std edition?

    this is an add on that unlocks additional tracks released for the game since its switch release.

    Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is an enhanced port of the original Mario Kart 8 that was on the Wii U containing all the dlc that was released for the Wii U game.
