    The hose is coated in plastic which makes it heavy and rigid. This meant mine sprung a leak close to the head within a year. Be aware it is not part of the warranty/guarantee. Otherwise a nice shower

    Yeah, I have a Mira realm and the first thing I did was replaced the hose. Didn't like the look - the flexibility was very poor on the plastic hose.

    Just to mention, Mira are a UK company and provide decent support over the phone. On some units they also provide an extension for the riser if you call and ask. (edited)

    We have this shower and Mira have been out 3 times under warranty to fix it. Just waiting for the next thing to go wrong with it. We had to wait about 6 weeks for them to come out last time with the hose constantly leaking and no way to stop the water.

    Just replace the hose with a decent one…
    Sod waiting 6 weeks.

    Great shower, fitted two in our house, one has daily use with the head being taken down. Not leaks on the house so far after 4 years

    I have had mine around 6 years I would say. Had to replace the hose 2 weeks ago. Also one of the joins in the riser has also started leaking, but that is an easy fix (edited)

    We have six of these and have lasted - no issues as stated above so I think we're quite lucky. I would buy this again though - great flow through too.
