The direct omission of the sequential lettering X and T after the 6800 would not be a clue would it?

The 16GB 4060TI, which should appear a little above 450, is the direct competitor to this card. If you are stupid enough to use performance ruining RT settings, the Ngreedia card will be quite a bit 'faster' (with lousy frame-pacing, of course- the curse of RT on almost any card).

The 4060TI has CUDA (if you like to play with AI in windows- currently AMD really only supports AI in Linux, and then not as well supported as CUDA). Without RT, the 4060TI will use a bit less power, but will mostly lose to the 6800, although they'll probably be close enough in most games.

HOWEVER the 16GB 4060TI will be a much bigger seller than the 6800 (down to corporate reps), so the 6800 is going to drop in price FAST once the Ngreedia option is available (no later than July- likely to be somewhat earlier).

GPU sales are currently at a red-alert disaster level. Only price can now reverse this trend in a massively buyer's market, so despite what the retail shills tell you in the comments below every one of these 'bargains', GPU prices are going to crash this year.

You really need to wait if you can until after summer. autumn is always the best time to pick up cheap last gen graphic cards and other computer kit and if you can wait a little bit more BlackFriday.

Stonking deal. If I didn't already have a 3070 I'd be all over this. Would be a bit of a lateral move to upgrade.

It's still got the legs on a 3070ti with double Vram but yeah generally doesn't make sense upgrading within same gen

7800XT should be decent upgrade but won't be landing for a while

This is a solid performer but I imagine the price will drop soon with the new cards. I bought a 6800 for £500 a few months back and I am happy with that.

I wouldn't get this if you were interested in 4k gaming (get the XT version). 1440/1080 will be fine for at least 60fps on most newer games as of writing.

Shame this can't fit in my ITX case, are there any 6800 with double slots (45mm max)?? The alternative is the 4070 but don't want to pay the rip off price
