Does anyone know what invoice number/reference they would put in the quidco claim ? i purchased this 2 days ago and i still haven't got my cashback. I did get the notification that my referral had been tracked prior to purchasing the software. However, it doesn't show anywhere on my dashboard. TIA

Does anyone know if you have to use the page that quidco or TCB opens to still get the deal? I ask as when it goes to connect to the page it just turns into a black page? I've tried chrome and firefox same result. I think kaspersky is blocking cj.gotomi . Thanks

As I already stated it was an alternative option the cheapest isn't always the 'best' sometimes it comes down to personal preference and the offer I mentioned was still cheaper than its normal retail value.

If I purchased about 3pm Friday when should I expect Quidco to track. haven't used it for 10 years apparently.

On HotUKDeals people are generally try to look for best alternatives rather than just alternatives ;)

Thanks for that. I kinda agree with that article, especially the funding aspect now that it’s on TV; why would they want to encourage everyone to use a VPN?? The random (purposeful) leaks! And Lithuania?! Didn’t see that coming!

Plenty of stuff about NordVPN on here: How much is true or has been substantiated, I really don't know.

It's not entirely clear - the problem with VPNs is that companies spread rubbish about each other so it's hard to distangle - so they *might* be located there but a court case was filed recently in the US saying they stole the IP of another company and I seem to remember as part of that case it's been suggested they are in Latvia (I think it was Latvia - I'm on my phone). So really I'd just say take all claims by all VPNs with a pinch of salt.

Oohh, do tell more. Are nord being economical with the truth?

NordVPN is (y) and I paid $72.00 for 2 years previously. This is a really good deal IMHO for 30 months. However see the note about CyberGhost being available for a little over $2.00 a month. NordVPN is great for people who want more control over their VPN settings - Cyberghost is good for people who just want it to work auto-magically when installed and cannot really argue if there is an offering of Cyberghost for as low as $2.00 a month. In the end - turned out that it wasn't such a hot deal after all :) I guess!

Any ideas why this went so cold. I was thinking of this vs the windscribe lifetime deal. Nord seem to be the better windscribe seem to be the best price. Mainly using for torrenting and kodi

Damn ;) and I thought this was a good deal. Did not expect it to go Freezing cold!!!

77% Off the 3 year plan

Not really related but am trying to find out if using a VPN either nord or Cyberghost on a router which has sky q connected to it via lan or wireless allows Skyq to access the internet and run properly. Have asked on the sky and virginmedia forum but so far no one seems to be running sky q and a vpn.

has anyone done this with 75 or 77% off the 3 year plan and also had their cash back track?

Help please clueless! Ok I got my third virgin email and thought I best get a VPN, I think I’m using it right, though it’s now takes several hours rather than minutes to do a download, am I doing something wrong or is this just the price for being anonymous? I use vuze plus, would I be better watching a different way? I know my sister has a little box that does things then and there, though her daughters ex set that up for her. Is there a good idiots guide somewhere? Thank you x

Yeah that’s what I did.

I don't disbelieve you, nor do I think we disagree. Just trying to have a bit of fun with you while making a point that really isn't that important. Gnight :)

I received my £31 cashback on TCB within 6 weeks.

A very good point. And the answer is yes. It should track very quickly, but I'm not sure how long it takes to reach the payment stage.

Am I thinking correct, because they have a 30-day money-back guarantee, if it doesn't track I could simply cancel it with nord?

Easiest way is probably to get yourself a Linux/Debian VPS. OVH do 'em for £3/month. Others do for more or less depending on reliability. Then put Open VPN [free] on it. Google Youtube for blow by blows. Also use it as a webserver, private email server, cloud storage, DNS server and anything else your imagination goes to.

I paid £80 for 3 years back in August and its been pretty good. Works with US Netflix on my iPad (I have a family UK account). Presume you can sign up to cheaper services like Indonesia PSN etc with this too? I’ve not tried tbh. I’m not voting either way but NordVPN has been good so far :)

Wouldn't worry too much about being anon when buying this as Nord are pretty anon themselves. Paypal will always track you, yes. Probably better at paying in a cryptocurrency exchanged from Monero if you want to be more anon rather than PayPal. Pretty sure they accept quite a few.

Anyone paid for this via PayPal? Or is it better to pay via a no name pre-paid MasterCard? Really want to be anonymous when making a payment. PayPal is fully trackable right?

Good deal OP, heat added! Can someone tell me if this works (including cashback) to extend a current subscription? looking at this deal how do i make sure i get it for £52 do I need to pay in dollars.

Just an update. Sent 5 emails to Nord but none answered. Terrible service from an allegedly top notch VPN service. I think they like taking peoples money more. Anyways I tried my email with some old passwords and surprise I got in. Turns out I had Nord briefly about 4 years ago and they added this subscription to my account. All working ok but not as fast as Pure VPN which unfortunately is not secure according to reviews. Will try Nord for the time being and maybe ask them why they dont respond to emails.....shocking. Above apart decent price for a 2 year plan.

My 3 year subscription just came through on TCB! Was worried due to the voucher code but all worked out :) Took just over an hour to track.

I signed up for 2 years at $79.00 with 42% Topcashback. The speeds have been good. Torrents generally download at the same speed they did before. US Netflix works via the laptop. I sideloaded the app to my Firestick (V2 with Alexa), but US Netflix won't work with any server. I think you may need to set your Amazon accounts primary address to the US, otherwise it won't work. Word of caution - My cash back did not track. I'm currently going through the process of logging a missing cash back claim. Hopefully all will get resolved.

Did your topcash track and pay out.

My TCB cashback moved to payable this morning. Did the 3 year deal with the coupon and got £30.29 cashback so overall cost of around £45 for the 3 years. :)

Same situation with me. Coming to two months now.

Was just going to post to see if anyone had got their cashback from TCB yet. Mine has been confirmed to a while, just not moved to payable yet.

I couldn't get the 3 years without the promo coupon (did try various way loading but kept reverting to full price on the Nord website). Took the 'safer' option of doing the above (2 years, removing coupon). mine was a few pence over £57, £23 cashback just been confirmed this week - so £17 per year for me - very happy with that! So say $99 was ~£70 and cashback declined that's £23 per year. Could've potentially got it down to approx £13.67 per year with payable cashback on the 3Y deal, but given TCB's antics on my previously valid transactions, it's too big a risk they'd have declined it IMO and would be stuck with £23 per year. Also, although I doubted the quality of my IPTV provider, it looks like Windscribe was the issue - this has been poles apart - consistent good service, same IPTV provider. A few glitches on higher bandwidth channels, but I'm more than happy given the price. If I bought a guest round they 99% of the time (when there isn't a glitch) they wouldn't know it's IPTV vs. 'real' TV.

Beware. NordVPN stuffed the wi-fi connection on my iPad (ios10 and now ios11). When it connects, the wi-fi disappears. It does the same intermittently with my iPhone. Opera VPN and Tunnelbear work fine with them. Go for a trial before handing over your cash.

14 eyes thing is a bit of a red herring. Your VPN provider wont have any useful data to hand over no matter where they are. They can confirm active sessions, perhaps a session start and/or end time, but these should not be a major problem for you. The TF article explains it a bit better than I can in a few paragraphs: Probably the key part of the TF article is this: Your session being stopped is about as much as can happen to you. Unless you are live streaming big sports events you will probably have no problems with session stopping.

Have you read the reviews in the OP?

IPVanish, Nord VPN or PIA to replace my Cyberghost? Cyberghost was slow and could only use one device at a time. PIA and IPVanish both based in USA so logging wise thats not good, was going to go with Nord, but put off with these reviews...
